I look into his eyes and smile softly. He reaches out and strokes my cheek making me close my eyes and snuggle into him even more. I lie my head back on his chest and he starts running his fingers through my hair whilst I sigh contently.
“I can’t believe that this is the last night we’ll spend together’ He whispers softly.
I clench my eyes shut to stop my tears from leaking and look up at him and smile.
“Let’s think of this positively, I’ll be back for my senior year, if you can wait for me that long then we’ll be together again”.
He smiles “Of course I can wait that long, I would grow old just waiting for you to come back to me”.
I lean forward and place a searing kiss on his mouth which he responds to.
When I pull back I look into the beautiful green eyes that I fell in love with.
“I love you so much Travis”.
“I love you too Eris”.
