Magic. Just that one word causes your brain to swirl with hundreds of thousands of references you that have ever head about in books or seen on TV. But what would you do if all that was wrong? What if I told you that Earth was as far away from the magical realm as you could get? Humanity as a whole thinks of itself as a superior race, the top of the food chain, the final stage of evolution. That couldn't be any farther from the truth.
Take the word Magic. Think about all you have ever heard about it. Now erase it from your mind. What you have been told all your life is a lie, one that took me years to understand and make sense of. Magic. Magic is not on Earth, or if it is, we can not access it. It is unknown why this happened, but because of it we are disgraced. Kept separate from the rest of the universe in our own little pocket of space and time, we are completely alienated from everything else. But, back to Magic. Magic is everything. It is the foundation of life and everything needed to sustain it to make it flourish.
