The dawn sky was clear enough to see the blinking lights of stars. Below, the city's own lights shimmered as though they were stars, too.

The mission was simple. Take the device and deliver it to the recipient. Never did Alie knew that transporting was far more dangerous than the frontlines.

"I'll kill that jack ass!" Alie hid behind an alley and panted, struggling for air.

"I never signed up for this sh**" Cursing, a dagger flew across her and was stuck in a wall.

Eyes struggling to see from the darkness, Alie closed her eyes for a few moments allowing it to adjust and then searched for her pursuers. She spotted movement above an apartment building.

Something flashed at the corner of her eye. A whistling sound streaked across the air. An arrow! Alie sidestepped and rolled, arrow stuck on the wall behind her.

Alie was thinking who might be chasing her. The Klutz? Nymphonias? Her thoughts were disturbed as footsteps echoed from her right.

"There you are darling." A low, creaky voice said. "Hand it over or else." Tongue tracing and licking its lips, the figure slowly moved towards Alie.

Reaching out behind her waist, she unsheathed a dagger fashioned with emblems.

"Care to fight, eh?" Alie taunted. It was her way of provoking an enemy to make a mistake in fighting.

"Nobody says that to me!" the bulk man angrily reacted. It turned into a crouching position and began running towards her.

"Too much muscle but with a little brain." She whispered.

Alie waited for the man to reach arms length then sidestepped to the right, rolling.

Just like bullfighters. She thought of provoking the man again but as she turned around, its face was already against hers. Punching her stomach.

Alie flew along the alley way, the wall scraping her sides and her back against the ground.

The man was quickly upon her, leaping and soaring high above where she was lying.

Alie managed to roll to the left, avoiding the man's stomp with its large feet.

Alie made a run for the man and leaped about four feet into the air, legs stretched to kick the man in its torso.

The man got a hold of her feet. With a tight grip, he rotated 3 times and released Alie.

Hitting her back on the wall, she realized that this should be over or else she'll be done for.

She stood up, eyes menacing and fixed to the ground and then to the man.

5 meters. That can be done. Without saying anything, she quickly dashed towards the man in a zigzag pattern.

The man growled. Crouched and tried retaliating Alie's attack.

In just half a second, Alie managed to cover three and a half meters, surprising the man. It stopped and hesitated in attacking, face in fear.

Alie grabbed her dagger, and slashed the man nine times. One on each leg, four on the body and three on the face.

"AAAARGGH!" The man bellowed. It was done perfectly. But to Alie, it wasn't. Blood was still on her dagger.
