Holding his hand tightly in hers, she smirked. "They're not going to commit murder, I hope you know that!"

"You cracking jokes at this current moment isn't going to help the situation." Louis squeaked out.

Giggling, she shook her head letting strands of her auburn hair fall in her face. "Says the man who usually has everyone else laughing around him. Relax! You will be fine!!"

"But you weren't there when Ryan and Ben a threatened me!! And your brothers aren't ones to mess with. Plus I'm a shrimp compared to them!!!!" Louis cried as she fought to keep her composer.

Placing her hands on his shoulders, she looked into his blue eyes and smiled softly. "Listen, this is the first step. They might hate you for a second but at the end of the day it doesn't matter what anyone thinks because it's you and me and no one else's business. We are in this relationship - you and I. And I love you and just look to your side and that's where I'll be."

Leaning in, she softly placed her lips on his as he smiled. "Love you Abbie."

"You too Lou. Ready?" Squeezing his hand, she quickly knocked on the door as it was quickly opened.

Standing in the doorway was Ryan and Ben with their arms crossed over their chests with warning looks on their faces. "I thought we told you never to show your face around here again Tomlinson."

"Listen you two and listen good. Louis and I are back together so that means there will be no threats, harassment or bullying. He's family and if you dare do anything to him, you will answer to me and it won't be pretty. Do you understand?" She said while pulling Lou into the house.

Both boys started protesting to which she quickly held up her hand. "I don't frankly care what your arguments are and at this point they're irrelevant. Lou and I are back together. You don't have to like it but you will be nice and respectful to him. If not, I'll bring out the big guns and don't forget I have files on both of you that would make mom and dad's heads spin so fast that the fact you both are adults will be irrelevant. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes Abbie." Ryan and Ben mumbled while looking at the ground. She walked over and gave them both hugs. "I love the fact you both are so protective of me but it's my life to live. Lou and I are giving it another go. It's a lot different than what 2012 was and we are both are in totally different places now than back then. And we both have grown up some."

Ryan smirked. "Actually you're still the 21 year old you were back then! You haven't matured at all!"

"You're still the idiot you've always been but you don't hear me complaining!!" She shot back before hearing footsteps getting closer.

Meredith poked her head into the foyer with a disapproving frown on her face. "Really you two? Let me guess, you ambushed them as soon as they knocked on the door."

"We did no such thing, Mere." Ryan started.

Abbie protested. "From the moment they door opened they had angry looks on their faces."

"I could kill you Ryan Michael. And you Benjamin Jacob." Meredith smiled at Abbie and Louis before walking over. "I'm sorry you two. It's good to see you again Louis. I'd love to hear about the last few years. Come along Abbie."

Following Meredith into the kitchen, Abbie smiled seeing her mom and dad standing by the stove laughing. "Mom, dad you will not believe what I caught Ryan and Ben doing!! They were harassing Abbie and Louis."

"I overheard them saying something to that degree." Anna, her mom, said looking in their direction before walking over to the happy couple. "Don't worry dear, I'll straighten them out. It's good to see you again Louis. Abbie mentioned you were back in town."
