Honey Manners stepped on the Hogwarts Express, she had waited for this moment for 11 years! She looked through the compartments until she found one with a black haired boy inside.
"Can I sit here?"she asked and he nodded,"I'm Honey " and she held out her hand.
"I'm James Potter!" he replied, shaking it with an grin and soon another boy with black hair barraged in.
"Hi I'm Sirius, Sirius black!" He grinned and sat down next to Honey.
"You're a bit forward" said Honey with a laugh.
"Always have been, always will be!" He boasted.
Soon they were all laughing with each other and the door slide open once again, This time two blond hairs boys came in, one was short and stout and the other one was holding a book
"do you mind if..."
"Yes, you can sit here" James rolled his eyes and they all introduced themselves to the boys and yet another time the door opened.
"Can me and my friend sevurus sit here?" said a girl with long, luscious red hair.
"Snivilus?" said Sirius with a laugh and the girl stormed off, her miserable-looking friend in tow.
They heard the train slow down and they stood up.
"First years over here!" said a booming voice and they stepped into the boat beside each other, soon arriving at the castle and waited for the sorting.
"I want to be in Gryffindor!" said James and the others nodded but Sirius looked a little green and was wobbling a bit. Before Honey got to ask what was wrong they were moving toward the great hall.
"Manners, Honey" the professor called out.
Honey sat on the stool and the sorting hat was placed on her head
"ahh a tricky one, very brave, a good Gryffindor but you would do well in Slytherin" the hat declared, its voice ringing out into her head.
"Not Slytherin!" Darcy changed inside her mind.
"Well then I'll put you in GRYFFINDOR!" the sorting hat shouted and she went down to join her friends, sitting beside Sirius who looked scared and happy at the same time.
"You ok?" she asked and he nodded and James whispered an"I'll tell you later".
They were all lead up to their dorms and honey fell into long sleep with dreams of her future at Hogwarts.
