"Hey Wads" said James as Honey walked into the room
"Full moon tonight, I can't wait!" He laughed sarcastically and Darcy smiled, she had always loved full moons and still would if it wasn't for one of her friends "furry little problem"
The marauders were all walking to their DADA Class and Lily was joining them, but Honey caught her staring at James mop of unruly hair while he wasn't looking. She nudged Sirius who saw and was about to laugh and tease until Honey kicked him slightly and he shut up.
"Today we will be doing the patronus charm!" said the professor "you will practice and I will call you up to the front to do it at the end of class!"
People practiced in their groups except the marauders who leaned back in their chairs. This was no sweat, they were unregistered animagi after all. At the end of the lesson, the professor called Lily up to the front of the class first, She squeezed up her face and a beautiful silver doe came out of her wand, prancing around the room, All the marauders looking at James with opened mouth, the class went one by one, most only producing silver mist. Finally James was called up, He asked the professor if he could show him after Class but he said no, James stood at the front of the class, squeezing up his face tightly as out of James wand came a silver stag. He blushed, looking at Lily who's mouth was open wide
James sat down and sunk in his chair. Then it was Sirius turn, a silver dog appeared and ran around the classroom. Sirius started to look a little green after a few people and the professor told him to go to Madam Pomfray. Next, it was Honey's turn. They all expected her's to be a penguin just like her animagus but surprisingly it was a female dog, the opposite of Sirius. She stood with an open mouth and ran out of the door and into the bathroom. She sat down and her head bubbled with thoughts. Was Sirius her soulmate?, she started thinking about him, how his hair was so perfect and his eyes were so beautiful and his personality was the best, maybe she was in love with Sirius! She stood up and looked at herself in the mirror, she was blushing like mad but she went to the common room and all the marauders except Sirius who was oblivious looked at her and she made a zipping sign on her mouth.
Later they all headed into the forbidden forest and did their "werewolf duties" as they liked to call it. When Remus was back to normal after a long painful night, they helped him into the hospital wing and snuck into their beds. Getting about an hours restless sleep full of dreams about the long day.
