I'm not here to tell you
How beautiful our memories were
But I want you to know
That I don't regret anything
I won't forget how you
Made me feel wanted
How you made me feel loved
You captured my young heart
And you broke it at the same time
It was you who taught me
To break my own rules
I believed and trusted you
That's why when you left
I was truly devastated
Then I saw your smiling face
And I couldn't help but cry
Knowing I was no longer
The reason behind it
But your absence taught me
How to love myself
I knew that pain would end
I need to start over again
You might have taken
A big part of me
But that also made me whole
And I thank you for that
Thank you for breaking me
For hurting me
For leaving me
I hope that it already hit you
You just lost me,
The most precious thing
