"Irish right?" The cute girl said.

"Yes!" I replied, happy she noticed. She smiled and looked a bit shocked. Her face went as bright as a tomato (which I found quite cute.) And she looked down to the ground. Louis was goofing around, Zayn was drawing on his napkin, Liam was humming to himself, and Harry was staring at the girl. I was already jealous, I know its been less than ten minutes but I was already confused about how I felt.

"Whats your name love?" Harry asked smiling being his flirtatious self. She looked down and whispered so quietly none of us could here her. "Sorry what?" Harry asked. She went red (even more cute this time.) and ran to her table. We watched her rummage around in her purse when she picked out her white board. I was a bit confused yet curious to see what this was all about so I didn't say a word. She wrote in beautiful cursive writing,

'My name is Addie... I don't talk a lot, I am sorry." We all smiled as politely as we could but I could tell we were all curious.

"Addie, how about you sit down and us more about yourself." Zayn said smiling.

Addie's POV:

I smiled slightly, feeling quite shy around these extremely gorgeous boys. I started to write down some basic facts on my whiteboard when Liam interrupted me. "Why the whiteboard, love?" Oh great. They are just gonna think i'm an attention seeker or a really sensitive weirdo. I grabbed my pen and started writing. When I showed it to them they all went silent. "Im so sorry, I had no idea..." Liam said, guilt spreading all over his face.

"I understand completely." Zayn said.

Even though he didn't, he hasn't lost his twin brother, the most important thing in the world. I wrote quickly "thats alright Zayn." He nodded and looked at me, his mysterious gaze penetrating. I wrote 'well I gotta go now, thanks' and got up.

"Wait, whats yor number?" Harry asks. I write it down and every one puts it in there phones.

"Bye Addie!" Niall says grinning as he waves goodbye. I wave and hurry out the door.

I am greated by a cool breaze as I walk to the car. Replaying the events that just happened I come to two concluions. One: Those boys are plain gorgeous and two: I just spoke. I kept the thought going in my mind. I- Just- Spoke. I was freaking out, how did one guy get a word out of me? How did the one guy make me speak after three minutes, 28 seconds? Thats right I counted. While I walked to my car the breeze hit me like a ton of bricks. I pulled my sweater closer and hurried across the parking lot. What does this mean? How could one boy, whom I had not even known for half an hour, make me speak after ten years. I don't understand, it's really confusing how one boy, just one boy could impact your life more than you could imagine. It's almost un fathomable, I spoke for the first time in ten years because of a guy, and I had no idea he would change my life even more.

When I got home I had no clue how I was going to handle this, part of me was embarrassed to talk. I hadn't talked in so long and if I talked now, my life would drastically change. So due to my fear and stupidity, I didn't talk for the rest of the week, until I got a special text from a special someone.
