Y/N: Looks like we have a new neighbour.

Mom: We should invite them over for dinner.

Y/N: Mom I never said anything about giving out invitations. There are plenty of other people that can welcome them with dinners and food.

Mom: It's hard to be new and not know anyone. Don't you remember how it felt?

Y/N: I was five so no I don't remember.

Mom: Don't get sassy. I'll invite them over for dinner tonight an-

Y/N: TONIGHT? No.

Mom: Relax.

Y/N: I'm going to take a long nap. You seriously got me f- I mean just wake me up before they get here.

You lay down onto your queen sized bed. You think about the different outfits you could wear. First impressions are always to be remembered. You fall into a deep slumber...

*2 hours later*

Mom: It's time to get ready. They'll be here in a couple of minutes.

Y/N: MINUTES?! I SAID WAKE ME UP IN TIME LIKE TO GET DRESSED!

Your mom shuts the door not taking you seriously.

You jump out of bed and take a quick shower. You take out a black body on dress just simple enough for the occasion. You place on a little mascara and eyeliner. You're ready just in time as your new neighbours walk in.

Mom: Hello, I'm glad you could come. This is my daughter Y/N.

My mother is actually acting as a normal human being.

The women replies: Thank you for having us. This is my husband Nathan and my son Ray. My name is Kesha.

( Tay wasn't born yet.)

Mom: Nice to meet you all. Y/N show them to the dining area.

Y/N: Follow me.

Kesha: This is such a nice place.

Nathan: Indeed.

Y/N: Thank you.

You walk them to the dining area and get them seated.

Mom: Could you help with the pots?

You help her place the pots of food into the table. The night seems to be going well and everyone is fine dining. Nathan is such a funny guy and is cracking everyone up.

Mom: Y/N what about you and Ray go get dessert? It's on the kitchen counter.

Y/N: Sure.

Ray has two braids and he's pretty cute. We excuse ourself from the table.

Ray: Thanks for having us by the way.

Y/N: It's no big deal. It wasn't my idea though.

Ray: Oh.

Y/N: But you're family is really nice and you're cute so it's a bonus.

Ray: You think I'm cute?

Y/N: and your parents are really nice.

Ray: You think I'm cute? Yes or no?

Y/N: I hate that vine.

Ray: The little girl is cute but the vine is annoying as hell. You're cute too.

Y/N: Thank you.

Ray slides his hand around you holding onto your waist. You almost drop the dessert dish but Ray catches it with his other hand.

Ray: Clumsy?

Y/N: We should go before they think...lets just go. I'm not clumsy. You just took me by surprise.

Ray gives you a quick peck on the lips. You stand there in complete shock as he walks out the kitchen dessert in hand. You rush behind him walking back into the dining area.

Nathan: Almost thought you guys were having sex. Kitchen sex that would be an interesting situation.

Ray: DAD! Please stop while your ahead.

Keisha laughs even my mom surprisingly. Your mom shares the dessert and you just sit there awkwardly. Ray occasionally looks at you.

Kesha: We should get going. Thank you so much for having us. You've surely welcomed us.

Mom: No problem. Y/N walk them to the door while I get this cleaned up.

You walk them to the door extending goodbyes. Ray kisses you on the cheek as he walks out behind his parents. You smile and close the door.

Y/N: This could be interesting...
