Ray is like my brother but these past few weeks I have been looking at him different. His hair when it's umbraided...his soft chocolate skin..his lips. He is coming over because my parents are out of town. My parents know our relationship so they trust us. This is the perfect example of a friend zone relationship.

Mom: Get the door!

Dad: It must be Ray!

Y/N: I'll get it.

You open the door.

Finally! My parents are gone!

You make the popcorn and head in the living room to find the lights out and the movie ready to be played. There is no sign of Ray. You lean to put down the popcorn when someone taps your shoulder.
