"You wanted to see us Lord Death?" Maka asked. "Sorry we are late. We forgot about it with all the commotion in the halls right now." "Why, Soul and Maka! How are y'all? How's time been?" (Lord Death was not as serious with his students as much). "Everything has been fine! Now, you wanted to see us?" Maka said, sort of impatiently. "Oh, yes. There is a very special mission that I have been saving for you two. If you complete it, you will earn your 99 kishin souls, and your 1 witch soul. There will be plenty to fight, so that should help you a lot!" Lord Death said, kind of serious. Maka and Soul looked at each other. They were both so happy, they hugged each other. Then, after a minute or two, they stopped hugging. Soul and Maka both blushed (though Soul never blushes!). Soul looked at Lord Death and said," We will do it. Besides, if we succeed, that will make me the coolest guy in the whole school by getting all the souls I need In just one mission! Haha!" Maka, still blushing, was still looking at Soul thinking, "I kind of liked that..."
