***8 weeks***
Maya's POV:
Riley just came in the door while I was 'asleep'. She's sitting at the end of my bed, whispering into my ear, pretending that I can hear her.
"Maya, I'm so sorry that this happened to you. I made sure that the first thing the doctors did after they stabilised you was to check the baby. Maya the baby and you are perfectly fine all you have to do now is wake up. PLEASE MAYA JUST WAKE UP", sobbed Riley, getting louder for the last part.
"I can't tell my parents about the baby by myself. And I definitely CAN NOT tell Lucas that Charlie Gardener is the father" she was bawling now.
"My parents will be so angry and so will Lucas...He's never going to speak to me ever again"
And then there was silence. Well except for Riley's sobbing which was getting quieter.
I waited for a few minutes before I piped up, "Charlie Gardener?!"
"Maya! Oh My God your awake!", she squealed, wiping away her tears with her hands.
"Nurse! Nurse! She's awake! Maya's awake!", she shouts.
"Hey Riles can you use the remote on the bed to tilt me up a bit, I can't see anything", I say, but it's more of a whisper.
"Here I'll do it", says a familiar voice.
"JOSH!", I squeal.
"Yup. I was so worried that you weren't going to wake up so I never left your side", he answers.
"Babe I don't know what I would've done if you'd died", he half whispers into the air, while staring out the window.
"Babe, I'm not ready to leave you and take the baby too", I say really meaning it. What if I had died? Even worse, what if I had landed on my stomach and killed the baby? What if we both died? What if I was left paralysed?
Oh my god I was so lucky!
"Missy got expelled", Riley says, walking in the door with a nurse.
"How are you feeling Maya?", asks the nurse, checking my temperature.
"Okay I guess", I say even though you can clearly hear in my voice that I want to say Well why don't you get pregnant, wait until you're 7 weeks and then fall off of an 8ft cliff, and then I'll ask you how you're feeling!
"Good you should be able to leave the hospital tomorrow but you will be on crutches for a week or two with that ankle", she chimes.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry that I haven't updated but my phone was broken and my wifi still hasn't gotten fixed so I'm uploading a few chapters at the same time.
