Crutchie hobbled down the stairs of the lodging house. His leg following behind him. "Jack..." he said seeing Jack looking at the stars again. Dazed off. "Yeah kid?" He asked turning to him as to say."talk to me." Crutchie took a shakey breath and looked at him.
"Jack. What is Santa Fe like?" He asked looking at him.
"Its where we are all a family. Where well...we aint gotta fight in order to keep a family. Its where dreams they really do come true and the city. It looks like a painting." He said looking up at the sky.
"Well...what do New York got that Santa Fe dont?" He asked looking at Jack. "It aint got me." He said and sighed "well it aint got me...at least not yet." He said still looking at the stars. Not knowing Katherine Plumber was looking at the stars the same way. Just thinking of a headline. And a prince to save her.
