"Tch! Knock it Ayato! You're such a pain in the ass!" Subaru shouted. He clenched his fists. Damn! Ayato is such a fucking asshole!

Subaru walked out to his garden. The white rises brought memories of his mother. She had asked him to end her life but he couldn't. He had stood there, watching her as she locked herself away. He never saw her again.

He had been only a boy. Yet he left her rose garden. He treasured it with all his heart. It was the only thing he loved. He took care of it, treasured it, loved it.

Subaru lightly traced his fingers on a white petal. He loved the gentleness of the petals, just like the kindness of his mother.

"Oi, Subaru. What's going on?" A all too familiar voice said. Subaru clenched his fists and turned to face the blonde. Kou Mukami, someone who really loved to irritate the hell out of Subaru. The last thing Subaru needed now was Kou bothering him.

"Go away, Kou. You are the last person I want to see right now." Subaru snapped. He glared at the idiot. Kou looked worries which confused Subaru. Kou walked forward and stood directly in front of Subaru.

"What the hell..." Subaru was cut short by Kou's hand on his cheek. Kou brushed something off of his cheek and stepped away. Subaru stood, shocked at Kou's actions. That's when he realized why Kou did that. He was crying.

"What is the matter Subaru?" Kou asked. Kou had never seen Subaru cry before so he was worried about the albino. He watched Subaru swiftly wipe the tears away.

"It's none of your business. Go away!" Subaru snapped. Kou flinched. He knew that the not was hurting, he just didn't know what to do. Subaru turned his back to Kou. Kou walked up to him and gently wrapped his arms around the albino.

Subaru tensed as he felt two arms wrap around him gently. What was Kou doing? Why? Subaru relaxed slightly. He didn't know why but Kou felt warm and gentle. Just like his mother... Just like her.

Subaru relaxed completely as a wave of sadness ran over him. He felt Kou's arms tighten gently. Subaru felt happier having Kou comfort him. He just felt calm.

"Even I understand what you're going through, Subaru. My past was scary. I'm glad that Ruki took me in. I hate seeing people sad, I don't like people to experience the pain I went through." Kou whispered gently. Subaru had never seen this side of Kou. As a matter of fact no one other than Ruki as ever seen Kou so gentle and kind. Kou never let anyone know about his past. Ever.

He had nightmares and fears from his past. Kou always hoped to have someone that he could tell his past to one day. He believed that someday he would. He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Subaru say something.

"Why, Kou? Even though you know I hate you. Why would you comfort me?" Subaru whispered. Kou placed a hand on Subaru's cheek. He looked directly into his crimson red eyes. Something about Subaru's eyes mesmerized Kou. They almost look like they are staring into the darkest puts of your soul.

"Because I care." Kou said. Subaru was shocked. Kou was just like... Her. Subaru placed his hand on top of Kou's. He felt Kou's breathe on his lips. They began leaning in and seconds later their lips connected. Kou's lips were soft and gentle, like a rose petal. He tasted like caramel and hint of peppermint. He smelled like spring flowers. Subaru slowly wrapped his arms around Kou's waist pulling him closer. Kou placed his hands on Subaru's shoulders, tangling his fingers into Subaru's silky white hair.

Subaru tasted like ginger and chocolate. They broke apart and Kou studied Subaru's eyes. "I'm sorry Subaru. I didn't intend for that to..." He was cut short by Subaru's gentle lips on his once again. Subaru held Kou's waist with one hand while the other tangled in his hair. Kou blushed deep red and kissed back.

Subaru licked Kou's bottom lip, asking for entrance. Kou's opened his mouth and Subaru explored every part of the blondes mouth. Kou moaned softly. Lust filled both boys.

Kou pulled Subaru down and deepened the kiss. Subaru pushed him down on the ground without breaking the kiss. Kou pulled Subaru's body on top of his. His hands went under Subaru's shirt and he began to trace the lines along his chest. Subaru broke the kiss, but to Kou's pleasure began to kiss his neck. Kou moaned in pleasure as Subaru gently sucked on the soft skin.

"Oi! Subaru! Where are you?" Ayato's loud voice capled. The two broke apart. "I had better go." Kou said. He kissed Subaru and turned to leave. "I'll come back Subaru. I promise." Subaru tapped his lips. What was that? What was the strange feelings?
