*Graces POV*
The next day all four of us were in the tree house. "Verno! Turn on the radio, let's get some sounds up in here." Chris said slapping his shoulder. Rockin' Robbin by Bobbie Day started playing. It was my absolute favorite song, and they all knew it too. "Well there goes Cashman." Teddy said, as I got up and started dancing. Chris was smiling, "Say, whydaya like this song so much, G?" He asked after an eternity of watching me. I laughed lightly, and shrugged, "I couldn't tell ya's, I ain't got a clue!" And continued on dancing. "I oughta teach you boys how tah dance!" I said laughing out loud at the thought. "The day Chambers and Duchamp dance, is the day pigs fly." Gordie said. He was most definitely right. They did nothing of the sort, ever. "I'll dance with ya G." Chris said. Literally everyone stopped, like I don't think we even took a mere breath. "Well now we all know for certain that Chris is head over heels for this little son of a bitch right here." Teddy said. "Uh yeah, Chris. I have to agree with Teddy on this I mean, you, dance? And like willingly?" Vern agreed. Gordie laughed, "You're my best friend but they're right, I agree too Chris." I snickered to myself, covering my mouth with my hand. "Guys! I don't fucking like her okay?!" "Yeah we know,"Teddy said, "You love her." And they all busted out laughing again. "Can you guys cool it for one second about us? We don't like each other get over it! I don't know what you want from us, Jesus!" I shouted. "Prove it." "Prove what?" "That you don't like each other." Teddy said. "Yeah, prove it then!" Vern shouted. "Shut up Vern!" I shouted. "How can we prove we don't like each other Teddy, what the hell does that even mean?" He smirked. "Kiss Chambers." I scoffed, "Yeah, no." "C'mon, you don't like him, right? So why does it matter?" "Exactly. I don't like him, therefore I don't want to kiss him, it's real simple Duchamp. If you had even half a brain then you'd understand that." Chris cut in, "C'mon Cashman, what're ya, scared? Just kiss me, prove em wrong." "So you're saying you want to kiss me?" I asked. He nodded. "Oh shit." Gordie said. "This is too boss." Vern said nodding. I smiled and walked over to him. I decided to put on a show just to make it seem like I was going to actually kiss him, which I was not. I walked over and seductively sat on his lap, he took his feet off of the table when I did this. I draped my arms over his shoulders, off of the chair. I started leaning down and right as I was about to kiss him, I licked his cheek instead. "Ew!" He said wiping it off. "Ha! That's what you get for trying to kiss your best friend!" "Who? Gordie?" I smiled, "Fuck you." I said sarcastically. "Jesus, I was kidding." Teddy said in disbelief. "So was I, I don't like him and I wouldn't kiss him." I said going back to my seat. "Alright, so, Blue Point Dinner?" I asked. "Shit, why not." Gordie said. So we all went to get lunch. We got burgers, they had the best burgers. "So has anyone figured out what we're doing?" Gordie asked. "Actually no, but, why don't we get out of town eh?" "We can't drive, Teddy." Vern said. "Alright but what about walking, or hitch hiking?" "I will quote you on this one, 'because that's pussy' Remember that Duchamp?" He rolled his eyes, "Yeah yeah, I remember." Teddy used to call Vern a pussy all the time, well he still does, but you see my point. "Well let's do something today, Royal River anyone?" I asked smirking. "What?" Vern asked. "I don't know, let's just do something eh?" I said exasperated but I was smiling. "Okay, you wanna do something? Let's boost a car." Chris said. "What? Like Billy and Charley? Yeah, no way. I ain't risk getting caught by the fuzz." I said. "Yeah Chris, that's crazy." Teddy said. "Wild." Vern muttered. He laughed "Alright, so what do you wanna do?" "Let's just walk the tracks." They all nodded. "Ha, memories or something Cashman?" Gordie said. "Somethin like that" I said smirking. We finished eating and headed to the tracks. "Where we going?" Asked Vern "What? Am I supposed to think of everything?" I said. "Let's go." Gordie said. I didn't realize we had walked really far until we came up on the bridge that crosses the river. I wanted to jump. I like the feeling of falling and it was only 100 feet, the water was deep too so I'd be fine. "Let's jump." "What?!" Vern asked. "C'mon we don't got anything on us and it's only 100 feet." "No way man." Vern stated. "Ha, wow, King of the Pussy's is scared. No shit." "Fuck you Teddy, it's dangerous." He said. I was taking off my shoes and shirt, "So who's going with me?" I said, putting my hands on my hips. "If you think we'd pass up this opportunity then you're crazy." Teddy said eyeing me. They all laughed. "Always sex crazed are we Teddy?" I said. They did the same and took off their shoes and shirts, leaving them in jeans, and me in shorts and a bra. "Okay, ready? Someone has to jump with me. Grab my hand." I said. I grabbed Chris's wrist instinctively, because he was right next to me. Teddy laughed and Gordie tried stifling his but I heard it. "I guess we know who's jumping with you." Teddy said. "Oh screw, it was instinctive. He's right next to me." They laughed "alriight." Gordie said. Chris just blushed and laughed a little. "C'mon Vern, let's go! You're jumping too!" Chris shouted. He groaned and started getting undressed. I looked at Chris, "You have to promise me you'll jump." "I will, I will." "Pinky promise." So he did. Just because I like the feeling of falling doesn't mean I wasn't scared. And I didn't know what was in the water below me, I wanted someone with me. I mean, would you jump by yourself? "Okay on three," I said gripping his hand tighter, "One... Two... Three!" And we took a leap of faith right off that old thing. I felt so free as I soared through the air, like a bird or something. I tucked my legs in and hit the water, so did Chris. We sank and then bobbed right back up whooping and cheering and laughing. We threw our fists up and he grabbed me and spun me around in the water. "That was crazy!! That was amazing!!" We were shouting as loud as we possibly could. I was smiling at him giggling because he still had his arm around my waist. He had toned muscles which I felt against me. My boobs were pressed against his chest. I really liked Chris but I couldn't date him. No matter how bad I wanted to, I kind of liked just this weird flirting thing we have going on. So I didn't do anything. I just swam out a little farther and called to them to jump. This was already a great start to the summer.
