Best Friends

*KENZIE's POV*
"Give if back!" I said in my best fake whiny voice. "Let me make a music.ly first." Jacob said with a smirk on his face. "But I was in the middle of texting Laci."

Laci my other best friend in the whole wide world. "Plus, I don't even have music.ly yet so ha!" I added. "Well, I'm going to download it for you. Aren't I just your bestest friend ever!" "No" I said with a smile in my face.

I ran and jumped on his back knocking him to the ground. "Ouch your gunna make me cry." Jacob whispered in his little baby voice he likes to do whenever he gets sarcastic. He isn't very good at because he always laughs.

I love his laughs.

"Kids dinner!" My mom yelled up to me and Jacob. "Coming mom!" I yelled back

*After Dinner*
*JACOB's POV*

After I finished eating dinner at Makenzie's house- her mom is my favorite cooke- I gave Kenz a hug and started down the sidewalk. I only stopped when I reached the house two houses down from Kenzie's. The Sartorious mansion as Makenzie likes to call it.

I opened the door and called for whoever was home. I turned out to be my sister Caroline. "Hey kiddo" she said when I walked into the kitchen. "Caroline I'm not a kid anymore I'm 17." I replied clearly annoyed at my sister.

I grabbed a soda from the fridge and ran upstairs to check all my social medias. It was about 2 a.m. When I fell asleep.

*KENZIE's POV*

When Jacob left I ran upstairs and rammed into my room. It was pretty messy considering I just cleaned it yesterday. Oh well.

Right in the middle of the mess was my favorite picture ever. It was a picture of me and Jacob. We were 7 in the picture- 10 years ago- and I had my arms wrapped around him, my face all crunched up from hugging him so tight.

Ahh those were the days when we didn't have a care in the world, or feelings. My feelings are all over the place. I love Jacob, but as a friend, yet I always dream about us being much more.

Ugh, too much overthinking. I hopped in the shower, washed my hair, hopped out and got dressed into my most comfortable pj's, I have a feeling I am not going to get a lot of sleep tonight.

HAY GUYS! Sooo... This is my very first book ever and I decided to do it on Jacob bc I love him more than life. Anyways😂 I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I will update again when I get.. Hm (Let's start low) how bout 5 views. I know it sounds crazy but thats a big accomplishment for me😂
