["Can this day get any worse?"]
Prompt: Y/N has bad luck and Henry comforts her when she comes home.
Requested by: @pbandjenny
A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in so long! It's just school is taking up a lot of time.
-------------------

It all started with an unfortunate morning; she had woken up late, her hair was a mess, and she didn't have time for breakfast. Of course, now she was at school, which she was late for too, getting ready to eat lunch, that was, before another unfortunate mishap had occurred.

After receiving her lunch, she went in the direction where her best friend, Henry, sat. What she didn't notice, though, was the open milk carton on the cafeteria floor. Coincidentally, she had accidentally stepped on it, causing her to slide backwards with not only the milk stain on her clothes, but also the stain of the spaghetti that she would have called lunch. And did I mention that the whole cafeteria saw? But someone was there to save the day, well, sort of- Henry led her out of the cafeteria so save herself from the humiliation.

"Aren't you a hot mess?" Henry asked her as she pressed her back against the lockers that pressed against the bench she sat on.

"Very funny," she said sarcastically. "Can this day get any worse?"

"Yes it can, but not if you come over after school."

"I wouldn't miss it for the world, Henry Daniel Mills."

--------------------

When the two arrived at Henry's grand home, the worse came to an end. They sat in Henry's bed together and played video games and snacked a whole bunch, considering they were both hungry because of the missing out on lunch.

While in the midst of losing the game they played, the girl decided to snuggle into Henry's lap, of course, in a manipulative way so that the girl would win the game. Henry wasn't aware of that, though. She felt like a field of flowers in his arms. He didn't realize it until now, but it came clear. He loved her. There was no denying to it, from the second they met, he just felt she was the right one. His thoughts wandered off to the middle of space, which caused him to "accidentally" lose the video game they played.

"Ha! I beat you!" taunted the girl.

He didn't reply, yet a smile crept on his face.

"I love you."

"Thanks, it's about time you said that," said she, before pressing her lips against his, and he following her. "Thanks for making this bad day a really good one." she said before excusing herself out of the room.
