tomorrow is moon

in daylight the sun awakes

the world refocuses into a continuous view of events

in night, the moon rises

while the world hibernate in beds

at time the moon watches over,

looks at the one below it

and thought to himself,

am i really of use here?

life is not present

life is not fair

i could not see anyone

they're all hiding in their lairs

what is it for me

to provide light to them

to protect them

and guide them in this realm

but the moon, it did not sulk

kept on complaining to himself

of how pathetic his job was

and how useless was wealth

but he loomed over,

seeing the darkest nights

to see a million people

still awake in sight

they laugh

they scream

they cry

and some of them, not breathing

the world is an interesting place

said the moon

but i know there were more things to see

when they were all awake

it knew the sun wouldn't take its place

for it was too bright for the night

and it liked the crowded cheers

in the noon time

the moon was sad

sad as always

as it hung lonely

the next night

for when the moon rises

everyone sleeps

no one cheers

no one weeps

only at times

could it see someone

walking their way home

with drunken feet

the moon could not complain

it could not change time

it could only be there

to wait as the day rises

even if the moon

does not have friends to talk to

or people to see

or things to do

at least it still have the stars.
