The One Where Louis Catches Feelings:
i reach my car and find liam standing alone on his phone. i hope he's not talking to that guy he told me about. he doesn't seem good for liam.
"zayn doesn't need a ride?" i ask, approaching my vehicle. soon after, i see a head pop up from behind my car.
zayn's a really cool person but i want to talk with liam about a few things alone, all of them concerning harry, and i'm not sure if zayn can handle too much gay talk in one day.
"oh." i mumble and get into the front seat, liam sitting beside me, staring at his phone.
"do you guys want to come over?" zayn asks hopefully from the back seat. i don't have a reason to say no, i'll just have to leave before work, so i answer him with a happy 'sure' and liam nods as well.
"sweet." zayn smiles.
"where do i start heading?" i ask him as we drive. he tells me to head to the house that all the jackson st. halloween parties are thrown at and it'll be around there.
zayn must make pretty good money because everyone that lives on that street owns a mansion. or at least some sort of glamorous house.
there's no way i could forget where that is. the jackson street halloween parties are the best parties thrown all year. zayn should feel blessed he lives near there, let alone on the same street. i'm sure he knows how legendary they are too because he's always present there, in fact, zayn always has the raddest costumes.
we drive for about ten minutes, listening to music softly and exchanging casual conversation, throwing in some comments about who's dating who and what that girl wore before we reach jackson street.
"just pull in there." zayn says and points to the infamous jackson house.
"the jackson house? why?" i ask but begin pulling into the driveway slowly, awaiting an answer.
"i live there." zayn answers with a wince.
liam and i's faces drown in shock. i abruptly stop the car in the middle of the driveway and turn around to look at him. "why in the hell didn't you tell us?"
"because its makes people think i'm some party animal or something, i mean, i like to party but i'm no legend." he shrugs, speaking quietly.
"no offence, but you are a legend. you don't know how many time's i've gotten laid at a jackson st. party." liam says.
"no kidding." i chuckle. "i lost my virginity at one of those parties." zayn makes a grossed out face and nudges me gently.
"what are your parents like?" liam asks curiously.
"they're usually never home, but my parents are as strict as they come. now start the car."
"are they home now?" my face pales. i'm horrible with strict parents. i'm a crude person and that doesn't usually mix with conservative people. i just end up saying something dumb, blushing, and causing the most awkward encounter possible.
"nope. maybe they'll pop in for a week every month." he answers, a hint of sadness is laced within that but he must be somewhat happy that he doesn't have to deal with them all of the time. at least, that's how i'd feel.
"okay." i sit back and start the car with ease. "got any siblings?" i ask nonchalantly, trying to start casual conversation once again even though i just found out i'm sitting with the host of the jackson halloween parties and i'm flipping shit on the inside.
