She woke up in a cell, lying on a small and narrow bed. Not only had she been defeated but she had then gone and got herself arrested, the audacity of her actions had been completely unprofessional. She was still wearing the same clothes, but had been stripped of her weapons. She muttered furious profanities under her breath, cursing the idiot who had put her in this god forsaken cell. She lashed out in rage, punching the nearest wall.

"Amelia Isabella Johnson, ex- hydra agent turned freelance assassin. Orphaned at the age of 4"

She stood up, giving her full attention to the man who had just entered the room. He wasn't difficult to identify, what with the big leather coat and eye patch.

"The great Director Fury, you've been doing your research. What do you want?"

"You managed to take down a God, a super soldier, two master assassins, genetically enhanced twins and the Hulk."

"Well, when you put it like that..."

"No jokes, now is not the time to be messing around."

She raised her arm in mock salute "Aye aye Captain Fury"

She heard laughter, and looked up to see the Avengers in a room on the upper floor-watching through a series of cameras.

"I like her," She heard Tony proclaim, "She's got guts."

"You're not too bad yourself Stark," she watched him jump in shock and turn to stare at her.

"I would apologize for blowing up your garage, but it was the most fun I've had in a long time"

"What the hell Banner, I thought you said the glass was soundproof!"

The doctor looked at her curiously, pushing his glasses further up his nose.

"It is soundproof, not even Steve can hear through that glass."

"That, Gentleman, is what I was getting to."

She sighed and moved away from the bars, sitting back down on the bed.

"Things happened to you, things you can't explain. When you left Hydra you started noticing changes, you're reflexes got faster, your senses dramatically improved and you realised you had a natural finesse for killing."

"Oh no."

"You became an assassin, and you began to utilize your skills."

"I just realised what this is."

"You're more powerful than you realise."

She pointed at him accusingly "You're trying to appeal to my better judgment, aren't you?"

"Were trying to help."

"Well I'm sorry director, but I don't need help."

He stood for a few second before turning and leaving the way he had come in. She turned so that her back was to everyone else. She took off her right boot, hoping they hadn't found it. The heel slipped off to reveal a compartment just big enough to hide a small blade. She took the razor in her hand and unfolded it, revealing a blade about the length of her ring finger. She grinned.

Time to get to work.
