Natalia and I continued to talk while we walk to class. Thankfully, the first class was math, with Natalia. I was so thankful to have Natalia around. She is my first friend since elementary school. We sat next to each other and she helped me through it since she's good with math and I'm not.
The day went good until lunch. I was finally happy since I had a friend. I sat down and waited for Natalia. She came up to me and we started talking about our interests. There was something different about her. She's so nice and always happy. I wish I had that sometimes. We were almost done when the person I hate the most except for my dad, James White.
"Oh look. The pathetic new girl and the little loser who messes up everything. I guess it's a perfect fit."
"Leave us alone, James!" I said. I didn't want him messing anything up today.
"Why should I? Oh, I know what to do." He gives an evil smirk and kicks me in the stomach because at this point, we were standing up. I was in pain and watched him punch Natalia. I go up to him, I don't know how I got this boldness. I go up and punch him in the face. That starts a whole problem. Then I start not feeling good. I run to the bathroom and start throwing up.
As I went to clean up, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I look back and see a beautiful girl with blonde hair and nice blue eyes and glasses that looked great on her.
"Are you okay?"
"Not really."
"Do you need to go to the nurses?" As I thought about it, I could go home early for this. I just nod and she walks with me to the nurse.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Brooklyn Jackson. What's yours?"
"Taylor Green. Nice to meet you." She says as she holds her hand out to shake. I shook her hand and gave her a small smile.When we got to the nurse, she walked me in and then she said she had to get to class.
"Okay. Bye! Thanks so much!" I said.
"No problem. Bye!"
I talked to the nurse and after a while, she let me go, saying I could go home.
I walked home not feeling well, not knowing what I had waiting for me at home.
