I hurry down the street as fast as I could, the buildings around me bluring as I do. Coming to the end of the street and back to normality I can see my boyfriend. Hes waiting next to his car, hair in a cap and his shirt roughly tucked into his jeans. His name was in black captals along the motors body; 'Xavier Rivers'. He is by far the best looking boy in my unit. Well he is too me anyway. I run up to him.
"How was it babe... let me guess your aching" he said and pulled me into a tight hug.
"Im in bloody pain, you could have told me that it would hurt considering you've already done yours" I replied lightly punching his arm which clearly had little effect.
"Well I couldn't give you an advantage now could I", he lauged and helped me onto his bike.
We set off fast through the silent suburb, the only thing that seemed to have life was us. I loved travelling like this, the wind in my hair, Xavier's body warming me from the cold evening. My life at this point is perfect despite the sitting I'd just endured.
We both live in the North west, Unit 5 the biggest and most advanced in America. So the ride home from the sitting facility in Unit 7 is about two hours . The best part of the ride is passing the snow covered mountains. They announce that we had reached Unit 5, and my heart finally returns to a normal rate after leaving U7.
"I love you" I whisper up into Xavier's ear and hold hug him more tightly.
"More than every star in our sky" he asks over the quiet humming of the motorcycle engine.
"Well considering the fact that they appear to be disappearing more and more everyday. Yes I love you more than any star that was once in our sky" I reply and look up to the darkness above us.
"We'll I guess I can live with that then Thea." he says.

Xavier dropped me home well past midnight. My parents were in the dining room, deep in conversation so I was able to sneak in seemingly unnoticed. The house was quiet except from my parents whispers, my sisters must be in bed. I get a glass of water and make my way upstairs. My younger sisters room, Daphne and Ireland were silent. They always stick to their bed time much to my mother's delight. Havens room was silent. She's my older sister by four years and will be leaving home soon. Summer was still up when I tried to creep into our room. Even though it was a school night, my twin never did take time into any account. She looked up at me eagerly from over her magazine as soon as I entered the room.
"So... how was it sis?... what did they say?... did it hurt?". she eagerly blurted at me.
"Slow down Summer, what's with all the questions?" I ask collapsing onto my bed.
"Well obviously I need to know so I can prepare for mine duhh!" she says and comes to sit on my bed. She has her long blonde hair in pig tales and her unicorn pajamas on, all of which made her look considerably younger than 19.
"You know I cant tell you, its a personal sitting and, no it doesn't matter that were twins, plus why would you even want a good one" I asked throwing a pillow at her and begin to get my pj's on.
"C'mon Thea, we both know how much you want to get out of America and explore, maybe this is your only chance to do it. And imagine it all the headlines reading: Athena and Summer Spirit save the world from destruction". She says and does her best superman pose. I just look at her in admiration for her enthusiasm on such a daunting prospect. Like they would actually choose me anyway, I mean there are like 11 billion other people they could pick and I guarantee I'm last on the list.
