Chapter 7

JOSH POV

"Joshy i'm hungry." Amy wined 

"What would you like to eat Amy? I will make you anything you want?" said Stella, Garett's mom.

"I want a breakfest britoe" Amy said all existed.

I laughed as she had trouble say burrito. Amy stopped her jumping and looked at me.

"What is soooo funny?" she asked putting her hands on her hips and pout her bottom lip out, i look over and see Stella taking a picture of Amy.

"Nothing lil bug it's just you never went to the doctors to get rid of those cooties you have." i said stating proudly and playfully.

Amy's eyes when wide as realization kicked in she started running in a circle again yelling. "I HAVE COOTIES!"

Then the front door open as i saw the boys come in and Amy ran to them and yelled "I HAVE COOTIES!"

All the boys started laughing as the walked in the door Garret when over to her mother and kissed her on the cheek and picked up Amy.

"So who gave you the cooties, sweetheart?" Garret asked.

"A boy kissed me on the playground." She sniffled "And then i told Joshy and and he said i have cooties." she said as a tear went down her face.

"Oh sweetheart it's okay, i know how to make the cooties go away." he said.

"Y-you do?" she said wiping her tries away.

"Yep we all have to pile on top of Joshy because said that you had it and then the cooties will go away." he said kissing her forehead.

"But before we do that you all have to eat." Stella said as she picked Amy out of Garret's hands and at the kitchen table.

We all got up and ate at the table and after we did the dog piled on me i gave her a bath then i had to put Amy to sleep in the room me and her are sharing because i didn't want her to be left alone again.

I went took a shower and brushed my teeth as i went to the bed i had pulled my lil bug closer to me so i knew she was safe.

"i wove you Joshy." she said sleepily.

"I love you too lil bug." i responded as i let the sleep take over me.

ROSE POV

The girls and i had a talk about everything, and they was all in shocked about everything i had told them. Sarah told me the Garret said that Josh will visit me tomorrow with his little sister Amy.

But i didn't want him to visit because it was my fault that their aunt was killed and they have to live with Garret. I feel so much gilt i shouldn't have left the house then Josh wouldn't have known what was happening and i wouldn't be here and their aunt wouldn't be dead.

i listened to all the sounds around me why did everything in my life go so wrong. If only i caught the bus on time my mom wouldn't be dead and Gorge wouldn't have done the things that he did to me.

I will be living with Sarah her mom wouldn't take no for an answer because when she was married the first time she had gone through what i have been going through.

"Miss, you have a visitor." said the old nurse.

I grabbed my remote and hid it behind me. "Who would visit me this late at night?" i asked

"Your F-Father." the old nurse said as she walked further in the room and as soon as i saw that gun pushed into her back i hit the button over and over and over, also removing the heart monitor thing off me so they would hurry.

"Well me meet again," he said as lust and anger took over his eyes.

I froze not knowing what to do, wait i can't do anything and it was because of him.

"I see that the cat has got your tongue?" he asked as he laughed.

"Go away the police are on their w-way." i said scared out of my mind.

"Well you see today is your last night alive." he said as he pointed the gun at me i closed my eyes as i heard the gun shot but i didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes and seen that the old lady jumped in front of me and got shot in the shoulder.

"YOU BITCH!" Gorge said as he went to shot again but guards had hit the gun out of his hands and put him in hand cuffs, as they took him away i heard him yell "I WILL KILL YOU ROSEMARY WINTERS IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!"

I cried. I looked down at the old nurse and saw she was having trouble getting up. i pulled myself out of bed and helped her.

"No, no dear you need to lay down." she said I giggled as she said that.

"Mam you just took a bullet for me and your telling me i need to lay down?" i said while laughing.

The doctors came in and took her to a room to get the bullet out and put her on bed rest.

As i turned on the TV the news was on and telling everyone what just happened.

GARRET'S POV

As i went to the guest room to check on Josh and Amy i found them sound asleep. i sighed as i closed the door and headed to where the guys where.

"Sooo is he coming?" asked Jett

"No he is asleep, he had a pretty rough day." i said.

"Umm guys he's not the only one, look." Max said as he was watching the news.

"More late breaking news Rosemary Winter was attacked by her Abusive step father Gorge Sims. He is now in custody of the police also he had tried to attempt killing Rosemary by shooting her but the nurse " Sally Davis" he took hostage jumped in front of the bullet hitting her in the shoulder." 

"That poor girl hasn't she had enough of that cruel man?" said my mom with tears coming down her face.

"Should we wake Joshua up and tell him?"asked Max.

"I think he has had enough of today lets let him sleep and tell him tomorrow." i said and Jett agreed.

"But of you needs to be up there to protect her even if he is custody, because if he can get in a hospital with out getting noticed he will find a way out of their hands just to get to her." my mom said.

I looked at her in complete shock and the boys did the same.

"What i got arrested for speeding and you was in the hospital with a nut allergy and i broke out to see if my baby was okay." she said as she pinched my cheek.

"Wow Stella you got balls to do that pros." Max said as he high five her.

"Now one of you get a move on and go sit in that girl room and protect her y'all SILLY GOOSES!" she said yelling at the end.

"Mom shhhhh, Amy and Josh are asleep." i said

"Oh honey your, father and i had sex last night and you didn't wake up or anything and trust me it was pretty loud, your father can sur..." 

"MOM STOP!" i yelled

"Oh stop acting like you haven't had sex trust me the girls you bring home sound like a hyena dying when they moan." she said crossing her arms.

"Well you won't have the problem with that anymore Stella." Jett said laughing.

"Why's that is my son finally GAY! OH MY GOD YES MY SON GAY WE CAN GO SHOPPING AND GET ARE NAILS DONE TOGETHER!" She squealed.

"What, no mom i have a girlfriend." as soon as that left my mouth her smile turn into a frown.

"Now i wish you gay because the last girl you dated was snobby bitch." she sneered.

"Well Stella this girl is different then that and she really shy person." said Max

"Oh well if the boys say she nice then bring her on over after you watch that girl." she said.

"Okay, okay i'm leaving." i said grabbing my jacket and car keys.
