Jim's POV:

"Oh my goodness! Can you believe it? We're actually here!" My best friend, Ariel, squealed excitedly. I laughed and looked at the school in front of us. The Disney private academy, or the DPA as some people called it.

"It's really something..." I mused and then glanced at some other students walking around campus.

"We're going to be here for four whole years! I'm going to sign up for all the activities here!" Ariel jumped up and down enthusiastically, her red hair flying in the wind.

"Boy, with that enthusiasm you could be a cheerleader." I grinned and started walking toward the school building.

"Ha, maybe I will." Ariel giggled and followed me into the school.

There were a lot of people crowding around the main desk to see their dorm assignments. The dorm rooms were actually attached to the school. I guess it saved them money or something. Whatever, not important...

"Hey Jim!" A familiar voice called. I looked over to see my good friend, Eric, come running over.

"Eric!," I gave him a bro hug and laughed, "I haven't seen you since the last school year. What's been up with you?" I looked at him curiously.

"I was doing a lot of sailing with my uncle. The views on the ocean were just incredible." Eric explained and then noticed Ariel standing next to me. He gave her a grin and a head nod. Ariel blushed and twirled a piece of her hair between her fingers. I just rolled my eyes. Ariel and Eric never really say much to one another but it's pretty obvious that they've liked each other since the seventh grade. Now here we are entering high school and they still don't talk to each other.

"I should probably go see what dorm room I'm assigned to." Eric laughed awkwardly and then pushed through the crowd of people to see the lists.

"Having some speaking issues there?...again?" I smirked at Ariel.

"I know, I know...it's pretty bad." Ariel bit her lip and looked nervously down at her shoes.

"What am I going to do with you?" I shook my head and chuckled.

"You're going to help me because you're my bestest friend in the whole world?" Ariel questioned with a big smile.

"Fine, I'll help you. But you're going to have to actually talk to him...with actual words...with your actual voice." I raised my eyebrows at her.

"Ok, ok..." Ariel frowned and then glanced over at the desk, "I'm going to check the list, coming?" Ariel asked. I nodded and followed her over to the list on the desk.

Tinkerbell's POV:

I looked around my dorm room and smiled with satisfaction. Everything was put away neatly and I organized my clothes too.

"Perfect." I sighed happily and sat on my bed. I took out a magazine about carpentry and decided to do a little reading while I had some spare time.

Just then there was a knock on my door.

"That must be one of my new roommates." I smiled and opened the door. My smile instantly faded when I saw who it was.

"Tinkerbell..." Vidia spat in disgust.

"Vidia..." I groaned. Of course something like this would happen.

Vidia's POV:

Tinkerbell?! Seriously?! I have to share a room with her?! This was going to be a long year. I dragged all my suitcases into the room and threw them onto the bed farthest from Tinkerbell's. I emptied all of my clothes into a drawer and slammed it shut. I saw Tinkerbell cringe when I did that so I smirked.

"What's wrong? Can't handle messy?" I asked in a taunting way.

"N-no...messy is fine. Messy is great." She gave me a weak smile and looked away. I smirked again and then made my bed messy by throwing blankets around and disorganizing the pillows.

"Stop!" Tinkerbell suddenly yelped and then covered her mouth.

"If you can't handle messy then you'll just have to deal with it," I said meanly and then threw myself onto my messy bed, "You're stuck with me sunshine." I mocked her and then closed my eyes.

That's when there was a light knock on the door. I glanced up to see Silvermist come in. She still had pale skin and her crazy long black hair.

"I guess I'm rooming with you guys." She spoke in her quiet voice.

"Sil! Oh thank goodness! You're a clean person!" Tinkerbell gave Silvermist a huge hug.

"I'm a what?" Silvermist looked confused.

"Never mind...I'll help you unpack." Tinkerbell replied and grabbed some of Silvermist's bags.

I just rolled my eyes. This'll be a VERY long year indeed.
