A/N: Hi guys! So because I obviously have a little bit of a life I'm not sure how much I'll update. I will update though. So I will say if I get about 7 votes and 2 comments I will post the next part. I didn't really have time to edit so I'm sorry about any mistakes and that it is short. just wanted to get something up. I hope someone is reading this and if you are ILY!!! KK lets start the storie! XD
I stood, just waiting paitiently, quietly waiting for my coffee. I should have gotten a cookie, I think to myself. It's slightly crowded in here. Other than me there were 10 other people, but this building was a little small, and I was a little too close to people. Why did I have to come here? I could have gone without coffee! Haha, I'm funny. Sudenly I'm too close to yet another body. I turn to say move and see this man is already staring right at me. "Yes?" He asks in a all too sweet voice.
"You could move a little. There's a big space right to your left." I point to the space. I would scoot to the right but there is a woman on the phone that looks like she's already upset.
"Ahh, yes. Well you see if I had gone over there I wouldn't be talking to you now would I?" He smirked as I blushed. I quickly shook off the color rising to my cheeks and looked at him.
"Well if you wanted to talk, get it over with my coffee's probably going to be done shortly." I check my watch to tell him he's wasting my time. I know he's probably going to try to chat me up and give me his number, maybe ask for my number, but I'm just not feeling it today. Maybe if I were at a bar, and had a few drinks in me, would I feel like it.
"Hmmm, well how about this. You give me your number and then even after you get your coffee and leave I can talk to you." He smiles at me and I almost give him my number. No. Nope nope nope. I laugh a little and then look at him, he looks kind of curious. Probably trying to figure out why I was laughing.
"No." I say simply. I look back at the counter where they are handing out the coffees and feel desprate to get mine. I need to get back to work soon.
"Ok then take this." He hands me a peice of paper and I want to take it so bad. So I do. I look at it and feel, dare I say it, a little happy as I see the seven digit number. I look up to see he's looking at his phone. That's when I feel my phone go off.
From Jake: Where the hell are you? Boss is flipping out trying to find you!
To Jake: I'm waiting for a coffee! Ugh! Tell him I'll be there soon and not to worrie about the Johnson storie. I just have to send it to him.
As I hit send I could feel eyes peering over my shoulder. I looked to the man to see he was in fact staring at my phone. "May I help you?" I ask him. His eyes snap to me and I can tell he's trying to think of something that he could say to make it seem like he wasn't reading something of mine. Maybe he was just checking the time.
"I was trying to see if you were putting my number in your phone." He said, he smirked giving me an I'm-oh-so-very-clever-and-you-so-want-me look. Oh great, so he was cocky too.
"I don't even know your name so that would have to be a no." I say desperately trying to get his name. Though I know if it came out that way he would instantly win our little game. He grabbed my phone and turned away so I couldn't see. When he handed it back he looked to the counter smiling.
Hot Guy
You're not that hot. I thinkto myself. Though I hate to admit it, he was attractive. "So even if I text you, you won't tell me your name?" I ask looking at him.
"I'll let you call me J. As a nickname until I know you're not an axe murderer." He said, he looked like he was trying not to laugh. To be honest I was holding in a laugh too.
"Ok then what if you're an axe murderer? You can call me Q." I say.
"Q? So your names Quinn?" He looked like he was proud of himself for figuring it out.
"No, nothing close. I just like the letter Q." I tell him. I hear my number, 236, and look at 'J'. "Well bye, J." I walk to get the coffee and as I'm walking out the door I hear him shout bye.
