Library Confession

Darrin POV

I was in the library looking for books so I can start on this History paper. I would've just used Google (and best believe I am) but the teacher wanted us to use books instead. He's doing too much but I gotta pass that class.

I got a text from Summer telling me she was on her way.

Clinton POV

I walked in the library and immediately spotted Darrin. Perfect. Just the guy I wanted to see.

"Don't even think about it" Quincy told me.

"What am I thinking?" I asked, playing dumb

"You're thinking about going over to him and making a move."

"So? You're the only one in here that's in my squad"

"Yeah with the rest being right outside waiting on us and how would you know if any of his squad aren't in here right now? Are you really trying to die?"

"Ain't nobody gonna do shit"

"And why do you think that?"

I watched as Darrin went deeper into the aisle, making himself out of sight.

"Cause ain't nobody gonna see us." After I said that I went to catch up with Darrin.

"Clint!" Quincy said in a whispered yell.

Darrin POV

"Hey" I heard a familiar voice say.

Instantly knowing who it was.

"Wow you've really been risking your life alot for me lately."

He chuckled. "I was wondering if you were serious about turning me down."

I looked at him. "You know we can't go there Clinton, so I don't even know why you would ask me if I wanted to hang out. No matter how bad I wanted to say yes, you should've known the answer was gonna be no."

He sighed. "I wish this gang shit would end."

"I don't see it ending anytime soon...."

"It's fuckin up my chances with you...."

I chuckled. "Why are you all of a sudden so interested in me? I know you know I've been crushing on you for years now."

"I wasn't out then. But I've always found you cute and when I finally got a glimpse of your personality I was like I gotta make you mine."

"How sweet"

"But then I got caught up in this gang shit and that fucked everything up."

"Well unfortunately I really didn't have a choice but to get caught up in it."

"Why is that?"

"E is my brother."

Clinton POV

"Wait wait what? 😳 The E is your brother?" I asked in complete shock.
