And with that, Bill dissappeared into the second dimension. None of the other people knew what to do. Dipper and Mabel were out for the count.

There was nothing they could do to help. If they did they would be poisoned as well.

They were all stuck between the twins' lives, and their own.

|Third person POV|

Dipper and Mabel were lying on the ground next to each other. They were both getting paler by the second. Ford was pacing back and forth in thought of how to help without getting poisoned.

"I've got it! If can get my um... Invention.... From the basement of the mystery shack I might be able to help them." Ford finally said.

"Uh, what invention? Is it dangerous?" Stan said. He cared about the twins more than everything. Of course Ford did too, but he would do anything to help them at any cost.

"It's..just...unnamed. It's a laser that can detect any kind of anomaly in the body and destroy it. Obviously this is a spell that Bill made, so that makes it able to be destroyed by this machine. The only thing is, it completely depends on where it is. I would need an x-ray for that. Luckily, I have one at the mystery shack near that machine!" Ford rambled. Everyone was looking at him with the expression of 'We don't care, we have more important things to attend to'. Ford understood this look, so he made a sacrifice for the twins. He scooped them both up and began fighting the poison inside of him. If he kept holding them, the poison wouldn't take effect until after he stopped touching them. At least, not full effect. Everyone started running for the Mystery Shack. They had to make it there before Ford was down.

Everyone was at the Mystery Shack waiting anxiously. Mabel and Dipper were downstairs being cured, and Stan and Ford were with them.

"Alright... I-I think... That's... Enough power..." Ford said weakly. He let go of Dipper and Mabel after a bit so it was taking every cell of his body not to be overtaken by the poison.

"Ford, if you are too weak, I can handle this!" Stan said.

"I've... G-got.. it.... They'll be... Cured in a few... Minutes..."

The laser was detecting the anomaly was in Mabel's wrist, and in the palm of Dipper's hand. It makes sense now, that Mabel had it in her wrist. And it makes perfect sense that it was in Dipper's hand, because he touched Mabel in an attempt to help her.

Ford powered up the machine. He aimed the laser at Mabel to destroy the anomaly. He figured that maybe if he got it out of Mabel first, his and Dipper's poisons would go away as well.

The firing of the laser was so bright everyone had to turn away. Mabel was lying there completely still. And after waiting for a few seconds in complete silence, Mabel started to move again.

"Am I in the mystery shack?" She said.

Ford was so happy that it worked he could have hugged her. But he couldn't. For some reason the poison was still in his body. It was still in Dipper's as well, so he shot him with the laser next.

Fire, look away, complete silence... And finally Dipper sat up too. He already knew he was under the mystery shack. He had been here a lot with Ford.

"Kids.... I... I may have... S-saved you... But... I don't think th-that I can... Save... Myself..." Ford uttered with great effort.

The twins and Stan were really upset. Why wasn't it Working? Stan decided to fire the laser at Ford himself. As he decided this, Ford lost the battle to the poison and collapsed. Stan quickly jumped into action. He gave the machine power, then checked where the poison was. Not much of a surprise, it was in the entire upper half of his body. That was a lot more to fire at, so Stan increased the range and fired. Everyone sitting so quiet in the room you could hear a pin drop. Even quieter than before. Which is a surprise that that could happen.

Ford looked so weak. He was getting paler by the minute. Which unfortunately, a lot of minutes went by. Ford was lying on the ground uncomfortably, and he barely opened his eyes and said, "Bill.... J-Just... Don't... Let him win... F-For me... Ok?"

And just like that. He dropped again. His words trailed off and he fell to the floor. Dipper checked his pulse. Nonexistent. Looked at the color in his skin. Nonexistent. Any sign of life. Everyone in the room wanted to deny it but there was no doubt. Ford was dead.

"N-no... NO.!" Stan screamed. He was not having this. He was pacing around the room holding back tears. Mabel didn't hold back. Dipper didn't either. Ford sacrificed himself for the kids. And he died because of it.

"Ford.... I... I can't believe you saved us..." Dipper whispered as he trailed off into tears.

Everyone there knew that Ford's death was not in vein. Not even close. His death was honorable, noble, and of course courageous. But it was also heartbreaking. Not only was the twins' new great uncle dead, but now, there is no way to stop Bill. The Cipher wheel would no longer work.

There is no way for perfect revenge on Bill.
