Chapter 4.

Victoria.

Amaris walked to the library, she couldn't stop thinking about her brother, those aren't the kind of wounds you have from falling, he was hiding something from her. She entered the library, Amy couldn't find Remus so she already searched the book they needed, she sat down at the table. Amy already answered almost all the questions when Remus entered, he sat down next to her, he looked pale, tired and had scars all over his face.'I'm sorry i'm late.' 'Hey Remus,it's okay, i'm almost finished.' He looked really sick. 'Are you okay?' 'Yeah, i'm fine.' he said, he smiled weakly, she saw the scar on his face, 'Remus what happened? You didn't have this scar yesterday.'Amy said worriedly, she laid her hand on the scar, Remus felt warm inside, it made him forget how miserably he was feeling 'What are you guys hiding from me?' she whispered. Remus looked down, 'I can't tell you.' 'I understand, ..' she held his hand, 'I just hope you know you can tell me everything.' he smiled, 'I know, thank you.' They heard someone cough, Amaris and Remus saw Sirius standing in front of them,  'James wants to talk to you.' he said to Remus, Remus nodded, he smiled at Amy and left the library.

Remus felt nervous, it was his fault James was in the infirmary, he stood in front of the the big doors for a couple of minutes before he entered. He saw James staring at the ceiling, he walked to his bed and sat down on the chair next to James' bed. 'I'm so sorry James.' Remus said, 'I understand if you don't want to be friends anymore, i could have killed you.' 'Remus, i tought you would feel like that, i just asked you to come here to say that i don't blame you,  we knew this could happen when we decided to stay with you during full moon.' 'But what kind of a friend am I .. ' 'A great one Remus, the way you stand up for Amy, we're lucky to have a friend like you.' Remus smiled, 'Thank you James.' 'You and Amy seem to get along quit well.' Remus blushed, 'Yes, she's a nice girl.' Madame Pomfrey brought James his lunch, 'Well i'm going to the great hall. See ya Prongs.' 'Bye Remus' James said with his mouth already full of food.

A week went by , James was out of the infirmary and Amaris and Remus were together most of the time. It was a Saturday morning. Remus walked to the Griffindor table, he saw Amaris and Lily, they were talking. Sirius was sitting at the other side of the table, he was staring at Amy. Remus felt angry, he knew the way he looked at her, he was just going to break her heart like Sirius did to all the other girls. Remus sat down next to Sirius when a girl walked to them, 'Hi Amaris, how are you?' Amy was very surprised, it was Victoria, she used to share a room, Amy hated her, she always bullied Amy when she could, 'Euh- Well fine.' Victoria sat down next to her, 'I didn't know you knew each other.' she said when she winked at Sirius. 'Well no, you never spoke to me remember.' Victoria laughed 'We were such good friends Amaris, have you already forgotten?' Amaris raised an eyebrow, she tought about the times Victoria had hidden her clothes when she came out of the shower, the mean words she always yelled at her, the way Victoria always said she was better than Amaris, that Amy was worthless. ... Victoria tried to look as sexy as she could for Sirius it was working, he was giving her attention 'I didn't know Amy had such a hot friend.' she looked with a lot of pride and ran a hand trough her long black hair.  'You don't belong here ugly, i'll take your place form now.' Victoria whispered in Amy's ear. Amy felt awful, she stood up and walked away from the table, Remus and Lily looked at her, then at each other and followed Amy. 

All Amaris could think of was that she would lose her only friends. She couldn't hang around with a girl who made her life even worse for the last 6 years. She sat down under a tree. She felt a tear rolling over her cheek what if she lost Remus, or Lily they were the best friends she ever had.

Remus and Lily lost her in the crowd in the corridors, 'I don't know what that girl said to her, but Amy looked very disordered.' Lily said, 'Yeah, i noticed too, i think she really needs a friend right now.' Lily nodded, 'But where is she?' 'I think I have an idea.' Remus walked outside, he knew she liked watching at the lake or sitting under her tree. A few minutes later they saw a blond girl sitting under a tree, she was holding her legs with her arms and hid her face. Remus placed his hand on her shoulder, 'Amy.' he whispered. She looked up, her eyes where red, Remus sat down next to her and Lily in front of her, 'What happened?' Lily asked concerned. Amy looked absently, 'She's going to steal you all from me, she can't do that, you're all i have.' Lily bit her lip, she felt angry, Remus laid his arm over Amaris' shoulder. 'We'll never leave you.' he said, he kissed the top of her head, Lily hugged her, ' I know I don't know you for that long, but you already are my best friend.' Amy smiled, 'thank you.' she said quietly.
