Chapter 2

2 months later

It's was 2 months since I started working for the firm. I have to say I wasn't really happy at the start I didn't no what to expected but I find myself loving this place and loving the people. It's amazing here I have learnt so much within the last two months since i started working here and working more and more closer with my boss and others that need help with here cases. I have even been to court cases and let me saying god my boss looks so good when he take control, I have never seen him lose a cases. He really is a hard worker I have ever meet someone that is so passionate about helping his clint.

"Katie can you please come in here, can bring the Murphy folder i need to go through it again and I just sent you another case to your email, can you please print to out and bring it in here so I can go through it thanks" he shouting out of his office so I could hear him.

"Sure ill be in there soon" I reply finding the murphy file in my tray and printing out the email making a new files for this clint.

"Here you go" giving him the two files "the Murphy file is all update now with what we talked about last night and find out more information to help out the clint" I said smiling to myself

"Great work Katie take a sit I need to talk to you about something" he said walking over to the door to shut it.

I sat down I have to say he has never shut the door when I am here with him I hope I'm not in trouble, I started get nerve and thought have I done anything wrong 'no I don't think so' thinking to myself, as he sat down in his chair I notice a picture of himself and his cousin OMG! he find out about me and Kane.

"So I have to talk to you about something its a about something i spoke to you about on your every first day worker here" he said

I thought to myself the every first day I did Kane in my bed

"So you know how I said sometime I go away to do different cases, I need to go to Queensland for a friends this cases is really personal for me and I will need you to come with me I need all the help I can get and every time you have come to my court cases I have won" he said looking at my wait for my response

I could tell by looking into his eye this case was really personal and I needed to be here for him to help him out.

"Sound great when do we leave" I said smiling at him

He looked up at him with the biggest dorky smile is was really cute, really how could I say no to that

"We leave tomorrow morning I no it's late notice but I need you to book the flights and hotel" he hands me a piece of paper "This is where I like staying we will be staying here for two nights and come back on Friday" he said "Also once you have done this you can go home and pack and do what you need to do and ill pick you up tomorrow morning thanks again Katie" he said getting up and opening the door letting me out of his office

"That's ok anytime" I said smile and rubbing is arm cause I could see pain in his eye about this case.

"Ok I be leaving now I need to get ready for this, just message me with what time I need to pick you up ok and thanks again ill see you tomorrow" he said locking his door behind him and walking out

"Ok see you tomorrow" I said smiling at him with a its going to be ok face

Getting back to work and getting everything I needed to get done for tomorrow I packed my stuff away getting ready to go home and put the file in my bag so i could read over the case to help Jason out. I got my phone out and texted Jason with what time he need to pick me up.

'Hey Jason your flight is at 9am in the morning pick me up at 7am'

'No worry see you then :)'

'Oh and go home'

'Ok thanks see you tomorrow'

I smiled to myself he really is a kind hearted, sweet person and I was lucky to have him as my boss.

I got my stuff and walked out saying bye to everyone

Getting home I walked in and had a shower, I then started packing my bag for the next 3 days when I finished packing I sat down and open the file and see what we were going up to Queensland for.

Looking over the file I could see how close this case was to Jason.

His best friend wife had passed away about 4 to 5 months ago and they had two children and her mother wanted to take the children away from him by saying that his not stable. When his best friend wife passed away he went through a bad way and lose his job and wasn't here much for the children. He only started getting back on trace when a letter turn up, which pretty much said her mother was taking him to court for the children.

I couldn't help but to think that this might be a very hard cases as his best friend has lose his job from 3months and wasn't around much for the kids. His wife mother had a pretty good case.

Looking at the time is was 10pm, ok time for bed you don't wont to be tried for tomorrow I think Jason will really need me tomorrow thinking to myself.

Getting up the next morning

I got ready and waiting for Jason call for when he was out the front.

Looking at the time is was 6:50am then my phone started calling picking it up it was Jason answering his call

"Hey Katie morning I'm out the front"

"Ok ill be right out bye"

As I walked over to the door I opening it up walking out backward to shut and lock my door, as I walked back I bummed into Jason.

I quickly turn around to see him, as his put out his hands to stop me from falling

"Sorry you scared me" I said nervously as we were so close to each other our body where touching

Smiling down at me "Sorry I didn't meant to scare you I just wanted to help you with your bags" as he let go of me and took my bag from my hands and walked over to the car. I was I stock I have never been so close to him and oh he smelt so good, dreaming away in my head about what just happened

"Katie you coming" he said making me snap out on my little daze

"Yep ill be right here" locking my door behind me I walked over to his car he opened the open as I stepped inside he shut the open behind me I couldn't help to smile on how sweet he is.

As he hope into the car "ok ready to go? Did you read over the file what do you think?" He said looking nervously at me like he knows its going to be a hard case.

I looked at him with a soft smile "Jason we are going to do whatever we can to help your friend ok". I said patterning him on the shoulder.

"I hope we can his just been through so much and to have this happen. I just need to help him you know" he said starting the car looking at the road as he started driving towards the airport

"Look you just need to treat it like ever other cases and you will be fine". I said smiling at him. " and beside I'm here and by the sounds of thing I'm your luck charm" I said joking to him trying to make him laugh

We started laughing an before we know it we where at the airport.
