Zayn POV

"Sorry bro" walking into Neds room.

"It's alright Zayn. But seriously Zayn you have to change your act. It's not good" he walk tords me.

"I know I know" shaking my head.

"So what now" he said.

"Called gabby. Didn't pick up so I left her a voicemail telling how sorry I was and she's right she doesn't need permission from me. Hope she calls back" crossing my finger

"Why don't we go back to New York" Ned ask

"Nah what's the point I have nothing to do there. Yes my kids are there but they have school, after that there in there club. Zack and Destiny join the soccer club, ally join drama/ music club. She wants to act, and it's great. She's going to be in a playyyy...." Oh my fucking gosh. Allison is going to be in a play this week. Checking my calendar. It's today. Ahh shit.

"Dude" getting off his bed.

"What" he said.

"My daughter has a play today. Can't believe I forgot. Yo pack your bad where leaving like now" running out of his room and into mines. I'm a bad father forgetting this important day for ally. She told me she wanted me there. To see her act. Packing my bags and calling my pilot to prepared the plane quick. Ned got us a uber.

"Hope we have time to get there" I hope so. Getting to the airport. Again lots of people. And fans.

"Zayn can we take a photo" one of them came running tords Me.

"sorry babe I can't right now. Maybe next time" running through security and getting check. Felt bad for them but I can't miss his show. Hoping in my plane waiting for Ned to come back with a few snack.

4 hours later

"Welcome to New York" a huge sign is plaster in the Hallways. It's good Ned brother came pick us up.

"Go to Brooklyn Elementary School" putting my seatbelt on. Ned bro John drive quick.

"What time is it" Ned checked his watch

"Um 7:50 what time the play starts" he ask

"Um 8:20" telling them.

"Dude where easily 40 minutes away" making it across green light. Give it 10 minutes and we got into traffic. Fuck.

"Where not going to make it" Ned said.

"Fuck that shit. I'm not missing my own daughter first play cause of this" getting off the car and running in the side walk.

"Zayn wait up" Ned ran out of the car too and came to me. We kept running. When I mean running we had to do the possible to get to that play.

"Dude it's 8:17 we only have 3 minutes" We both where catching our breath.

"Will make it. Come on" running again. Ones I see the school I ran inside. It's 8:21. Play started. Me and Ned look for the auditorium. Ones we did I open it slowly. No one look. Great. Looking to see gabby from row with the rest of the kids, her parents, and Christian. All recording. Then I see Ally in the stage. Silent. She look nervous. In the corner I see one of the teacher whispering the words to ally. She just kept looking around until she saw me and smile.

Of course I smile back. Mouthing 'You Can Do It'. She nod and begin to act. Getting into the from while Ned follow me. Seeing two empty seats next to gabby. Going closer. Sitting down.

"Your here" gabby looked surprised.

"Wouldn't miss my daughter first play" whispering. Gabby smile and watch ally act. She's playing Red Riding Hood. Classic.

Shows Over

"Daddy" ally came running to me.

"Princess" picking her up and kissing her cheek.

"I thought you wouldn't come" she frown.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world princess. You where so great up there" smiling.

"Love you daddy" she hugged me.

"Love you to the moon and back princess" hugging her tight.

" uncle Ned" she yelled. Wiggling away from me and running into Neds arm.

"Zayn when did you came" gabby came up to me.

"Came about two hours ago" she liked surprised. Again

"How" she said.

"By plain duh" chuckling. She laugh and hugged me.

"I thought you weren't going to show up. Bought ally loads of toys and clothes so she won't upset about you not being here" she said.

"Ally is my daughter couldn't miss this important day for her. I promised her I'll be here. So here I am" looking at gabby.

"Is the reason your here two ago was because you forgot" she eyed me.

"How about we all go celebrate ally first play. My treat" telling everyone.

"Yeah I'm starving" Christian agreed

"Okay let's go" leaving gabby behind and heading out with the rest.

"Zayn" gabby yelled behind.

Later That Night

"Zayn" gabby whisper at my ear. It was Ned time and I was trying to go to sleep.

"Hmm"

"Back there when I told you about forgetting ally play. It's true right" she ask.

"Yeah sorry about that" opening my eyes and faced her.

"Don't be" she kissed my cheek.

"I'm just thankful for you coming and being there for ally. She really needed her dad to be there. Supporting her" she smile and kiss me goodnight.
