Chapter 3: Heir of the third

Ookamitin pov

I heard Karasu Tengu Introduce Rikuo in, not me though, when we stepped in first Rikuo, then me at that second I stepped inside, the room came to a roar yokai leaders and comrades shouted and yelled while others sat there and stared or even glared at me as I was sitting down, my seat was right beside Rikuo and next to brother Zen. When I took my seat Zen said in a whisper "It is nice to see you again sister Ookamitin." I only replied "you too brother Zen." After Nurarihyon cleared his throat while standing up, the room went silence, He sat right back down then the meeting started:

Nurarihyon: Sorry to keep you all waiting. We are all gathered here today is the welcome and present my grandson as now the official third heir of the Nura clan and welcome back one of our long hiding comrade. Rikuo

After Rikuo nodded

Rikuo: before I start I have noticed that only one of our long hiding comrades are here. Where are Okami no Sukafu and Okami no Hana, Ookamitin?

I graded my yukata tight into a fist, but I took a deep breath and standed up and let go of my yukata.

Ookamitin: Um... Okami no Sukafu and Okami no Hana became part of the fallen.

I noticed Rikuo and Nurarihyon eyes widened in shock.

I continued.

Ookamitin: Okami no Hana went to followed the second heir into death and Okami no Sukafu was killed and ripped to pieces by the onmyojis.

I sat back down.

Ookamitin pov

I went out of the room the minute we were excused, and hopped on to the cherry blossom tree, I missed the view of the city that this tree offered and the beautiful scent, It was so relaxing being at a place I would be safe and there were people caring for me, it was so relaxing that I began to sing, something I have never done in a very long time.

Rikuo pov

I got out of the room, that room was intense, and now there were yokai drinking and having a party. Even with all the noise and sounds I can still hear someone sing:

I looked up to the cherry blossom tree, were on the branches I love sitting on, was Ookamitin.

She looked, so happy, yet in her eyes there was a small hint of saddens.

I called her down, she glance her eyes at me and she gracefully jumped down.

Ookamitin pov

What is it , rikuo ? I asked in a shy tone.

Rikuo: love your singing.

Ookamitin : Oh, Rikuo I have a present for you and everyone else! I almost forgot!

Rikuo pov

She grabbed my hand and then suddenly I felt something in my hand, She let go. I looked what was in my hand it was a box with black and blue wrapping. I asked can I opened it, she only said later when I give everyone's present and Rikuo, it is from me and father  rihan.

I was stunned that my dead father gave me a present, but wait how my dead dad make this or maybe he made this before he died or maybe...

After I looked up Ookamitin was gone.
