*HARRY'S POV*

REQUESTED BY : Aquariusgirl18

Laying around all day may not be the best thing in the world, but it is when you know you're with the two people you love the most. In my case, Joey and Louis. Only five short years ago Joey was brought into the world and Louis and I had planned everything to a T. Until we found out he had autism. No, we did not give up on him. No, we never treated him different then we would have if he was like others.

Louis says that Joey just doesn't want to talk to others, he'd rather do his own thing during his own time. Joey happily agrees, but he doesn't exactly show it. Joey throws things and yells, that's his way of communicating. Louis and I have no problem with that, it's a much easier way then to use words.

Today, as we lay one the floor and look up at the ceiling, Louis and I take turns telling Joey stories about our olden days. Our days in the band. Joey seems to be the happiest when hearing the old band stories, so we tend to tell them quite frequently. Joey lays still and smiles every once in awhile, that's how we can tell it's a good story.

Today's story of how his other Daddy and I met made him shine like a lightbulb. His smile was bright and he seemed content with the world. Joey usually seems full of pain, but now he's smiling and being the little star he is.

His shaggy brown hair, spread around his head. His bright green eyes looking up and blinking repeatedly. His little mouth moving as if he wanted to say something but couldn't find out how.

Louis and I often get into fights about Joey, cause parenting gets hard sometimes. We never let Joey know, it wouldn't be adult like to tell your child you fight with their father because if something they cannot control. The fights usually consist of one of us wanting to give up cause it gets hard, but the other one brings us back to our place and brings common sense to our mind. Joey is lucky to have two dads who support him and with him all the luck.

Joey rolled on top of Louis and fell asleep, casually crying a few times in his sleep. Louis and I laid hand in hand on the living room floor, them room dark, but the ceiling lit up. Brought with the Stars we couldn't let Joey see outside, so we brought them inside.

•••••

Twenty years later, Louis and I were sitting at a table, witnessing something  amazing happening before our eyes. The child we raised, the boy we gave the stars too, he was walking down the isle. He would stutter from time to time, but seeing him this far in life was worth the stutter. To see a young woman who loved our Joey just as much as we loved him, was absolutely amazing. Joey may never be able to have kids of his own but look at us, two men with a baby who grew to not have a baby, who adopted a toddler.

Harper Grace was as careful as her father, not very. But when she looked into her fathers eyes he could see something. Joey could see the stars that his fathers put up for him. The same, bright and beautiful stars- just in a different room.
