As the weeks blended in with each other, Alice found herself losing focus on her course work. Even though she was still receiving good grades, she often caught herself gazing out into the distance thinking about Hoseok. As the days counted down, everyone started getting nervous for their midterms. As Alice sat in the lunch room with Sandra, she couldn't help but gaze down at her phone.

Hoseok had been texting her non-stop for the past couple of days. He often talked about the discussions he had with his co-workers. Which she didn't mind, but every time he asked her about her day, she became flustered and often said things like it was good or okay. Looking down at her phone, she read his message.

Alice! I'm eating yummy food...Are you eating well, I remember you said midterms where coming up. Please stay healthy!

Smiling at the text, she quickly texted him back. She had told him that she was having a healthy salad, and that she would study hard, and rest well. Looking up she saw Sandra's questioning gaze. Quickly putting away her phone, she began to silently chip away at her lunch. Still feeling Sandra's icy gaze, Alice looked up at her.

"What?" She said with a mouth full of lettuce.

"Who were you texting?" Sandra asked.

"A friend." She replied.

"Cut the bull shit." Sandra said with a smile, "What's his name? And how come you didn't tell me about him."

"His name is Hoseok." Alice said, now playing with a piece of lettuce, "He's just a friend."

"Sure." Sandra chuckled, "I've never seen you so flustered before, it's so cute!"

Feeling her cheeks turn red, Alice quickly finished her salad. She told her it was nothing like that. That they occasionally met for coffee, and that was it. Not convinced with her answer Sandra rolled her eyes. Bidding her friend a farewell, Sandra left for her next class. Now sitting alone at the table, with an empty bowl, she let out a sigh. She was finished for the afternoon, and wanted nothing more than to go somewhere quiet, and take pictures.

Collecting her things, she placed both earbuds in, and set out. She stopped about every five minutes, to take a picture of the many buildings, and people surrounding them. A warm breeze blew passed her, which made her think of the ocean.

"I haven't taken any beach photos in a long time." She said to herself.

Heading back to her place, she changed out of her tights and tee shirt, into a red bikini top and black cut off shorts. Quickly going over the list in her head, she had her camera; a towel just in case she wanted to take a dip; water; sunscreen. She was certain she was forgetting something. Scratching her head she turned to her living room. Atop the black coffee table sat a little box. Just as she headed for it, her phone dinged. Checking the message, she rolled her eyes, and deleted it.
