Re-AN : Sorry, accidentally wrote Adam instead of Sky in the ninth paragraph. Fixed it.

'What are you doing ?!' Sky shouted through the link as he barely dodged it. The chanting from the crowd pounded against his ears, echoes of people cheering on who was going to win. And so far, everyone was rooting for Enderlox. There was no response as the violet dragon as he skidded to a halt and turned, his fangs barred, snarling. His tail slithered threateningly, his wings spread but he did not leave the ground. Looking around, he could see bows and guns trained on both of them, ready to act when needed. It was plainly obvious he couldn't use his powers unless he wanted to be in the solitary cells.

Enderlox leaped forwards, falling onto all fours as his claws dug into the bedrock floor, springing free small crumbs off it as he pushed himself forwards, turning into a violet blur. Sky barely had enough time to dodge the attack, only for his tail to coil around his foot as he blurred past. The violet limb wrapped around his ankle, the spikes on his tail piercing through his flesh like butter, breaking past his bone, locked like a chain until Enderlox decided to free him. As Enderlox rushed past, he dragged Sky along with him, slamming his back into the ground and forcing his skin to tolerate the sharp edges left behind by Enderlox's claw prints. Then suddenly, the ground disappeared. He was tossed into the air, Enderlox standing tall as his hind limb threw his body like a ragdoll, before slamming him back into the ground, almost cracking the bedrock and almost breaking his ankle into scatters. He had to scream at himself to move to avoid a pair of sharp claws from crushing his skull.

He pushed himself upright, the limb still chained to his ankle. It was a miracle he could stand without falling to his knees. Just as Enderlox began to throw Sky into the air with his tail, Sky shoved his foot down on his tail, using a bit of his magic to drive some force into it, an audible snap sounded as he immediately recoiled his tail, spreading no mercy to almost tear off Skys foot. He would've screamed, if he still had a voice. The only evidence of pain from Enderlox was the twitch of the eye, the limp in his tail and the loud, threatening hiss coming from him. Was he even humane ?! Oh, right. He wasn't.

With seconds to think, Sky fell into a defensive position, his injured foot behind him. There was no way he could win with offensive. But instead of an attack, Enderlox stood upright, tall and cocky, a smirk on his face. 'What's wrong, Leader ?' he said through a link, echoing through everyone's head, before he used his voice for all to hear. "Too weak and pathetic to put up a limp of a fight ? I don't think you remember what a punch is, prince, but i'm having trouble assuring everyone else a cast off version of an idiotic King can do so much worse" he taunted, venom dripping from each and every syllable. A twinge of a bowstring was heard and an arrow came into view. His claw raised up, snapping the arrow in two before it could reach contact with his iron scales. Skys blood began to boil as murmurs arose in the crowd, some of them grinning and dismissing whatever impression he had tried to make as a new leader. He gritted his teeth. He was not a cast off. He was not Adam. "I will NEVER be Adam !" he screamed, his voice thundering through the court yard, adrenaline and anger surging through his veins.

In a flash, Sky was in front of Enderlox, any strategy forgotten as he raked down his clawed fingers against his opponent, his eyes glowing a raging yellow. Enderlox only had enough time to raise his arms before his claws scratched off three of his larger scales, rousing a loud growl of pain. As Sky raised his left fist for another as his right withdrawled, Enderlox raised his own, his scowl of pain replaced with a cocky grin. His connected before Skys could, hitting his right shoulder, causing him to stumble backwards. 'Idiot' a different voice, not Enderlox's echoed through his head, making him angrier. These people didn't think he could even would him. He would prove them all wrong.

He immediately recollected and raised his arms up as Enderlox tried to pierce through his neck with his claws, the violet nails barely grazing Skys arms before he threw him back. Enderlox snarled, frustrated, before charging at Sky again, lowering his tail to defend it. Sky reached his arms up to defend himself from a tackle, but instead, Enderlox twisted around, using his tail to hammer into Skys body, sending him several meters backwards, crashing onto the jagged bedrock floors. His eyes widened as Enderlox laughed. This was bad. His adrenaline had all been replaced with meek hopelessness. His back pulsed with pain, his foot was practically in shambles, his arms clawed and the only thing he had managed to do was break a few weak bones in his tail. 'Use the sky, you damn fool ! the sky !' the voice said urgently again, recognizably Bajans this time. Sky spared a quick glance at Bajan, catching sight of him clutching onto a pale Seto.

As Enderlox charged again, forcing Sky back into defensive position, he managed to take short glances into the sky, trying to get behind him. The sky shimmered slightly, radiating magic and something clicked. A force field. He ducked under a thrown fist and sprinted behind Enderlox, sending the back of his hand into the back of his head, only to hiss in pain when it came into contact with the spikes on the back of Enderlox's head. Nevertheless, he used the minor distraction to propel himself a few meters from Enderlox, meekly hoping he'd be too bored by now to bother charging and just leap, damn it.

He glanced back, only to see a dark shadow blocking light from the Sun. Enderlox came crashing down, his wings narrowed to make a quick descend. Growling, Sky turned sharply and threw his fist into the air, hoping for it to connect, throwing as much power into it as possible to send him into the barrier. A shower of blazing fire was what he saw next as Enderox was thrown into the barrier, electricity pulsing into his wings and torso, immobilizing him before slamming him back into the ground. For a second, he did not move, and Sky hoped it was over, but a snarl sounded from him and he got up, almost seemed to be unaffected other than the shaking in his legs and arms, and the singed smell coming from his hair and his clothes.

Enderlox glared at Sky, his pupils dilated as his breath came out in short, angry snarls. A swirl of violet ovecame Skys vision before he felt something sharp curl around his neck, lifting him into the air. His hands immediately wrapped around his attackers, trying to pry them off. "It's not going to be that easy" Enderlox growled, his grip tightening around his neck, threatening to snap it into two. Then, suddenly, the pressure was gone and he fell hard onto the ground. He sucked in a breath of air, trying to replace the deflation in his lungs, panting. He looked up to see Enderlox snarling, flicking his arm to remove the shards of stone feathers lodged between his scales, almost piercing his skin. Bajan had interrupted the fight, standing in front of Sky, his wings stretched wide, some of the feathers from the bottom had gone missing. Enderlox took a deep breath and Bajans eyes widened.

He turned, shielding Sky who was in a kneeling position on the ground, his wings curving to form a protective shield around Sky as torrents of violet flames burst towards them, galloping through the cracks of the floor and reaching out to kill. They hit Bajans back, shooting upwards and crawling into the air in sharp licks, trying to burn down the entire Earth. His face was contorted into one of intense pain, his teeth clenched as his hands had to press against the ground in order to sustain his pose. The second he collapsed, the fire died down, revealing the scene before a horrified Sky, staring at the remains of a poorly planned fight.

Bajan had slumped onto the ground, the back of his shirt burnt off to reveal the third degree burns he had gotten from mere seconds of being consumed in fire. His skin was still sizzling, practically melting. Up ahead, the dragon had finally fallen, a tranquilizer lodged between his wings, collapsed on the ground, dead to the world. As the crowd pulled him upwards, the guards pulling both Bajan and Enderlox's body away, he couldn't hear the hoots of excited creatures around him. He couldn't hear the words of congratulation for his victory. This was no victory. He clenched his fist. He tried to deny it, but there was no point. Everything he had held up to, the only oath he had ever taken, and he had broken it.

He had became his brother.
