[A/N] : Once again sorry for taking so long to update, and sorry for the short chapters !! >.<
Sky watched as ihascupquake was tied down, snarling and fighting until they put a sword to her throat and her body stilled. He watched as ASF pinned a soldier to the ground and tore his arms apart until a shock surged through him so hard it made him scream and collapse in a fit of angry twitches. And no matter how hard his body was telling him to run, to pull them up and heal them, he forced himself to remain at the side, stay down, act like the submissive bastard he was. Like the betraying leader he had been brought up to be.
"Don't worry, it'll be their final time in there, eh ? One last time for the rest of us" He could barely process those words being spoken to him by Bajan. Sky cast a small glance at him, but all he saw was the singed flesh on his back, at how badly they had chipped away his wings. Once last time... he hoped that would be the case. Hoped things would go as planned. That was what he kept thinking anyway, as he watched the two inmates get dragged down to the solitary cells, for Hell. 'Your turn next. Make sure you do this well' Enderlox brushed past him with a crude look, but there was a newfound respect in them that made him surge with confidence, and fear. But he gave a curt nod his way and continued with his activities.
All too soon, he heard the familiar clash of the metal baton against the bars. "Line up, runts ! Back to the cells !" One of them yelled, making the others quickly go along with plan. Their obedience roused some suspicion, but no one dared move out of line. No one dared to mess up their plan. Their chance. If this messed up, everything they had would be at stake. Seto would be killed if this didn't go well. But as they walked, Sky couldn't hold himself still anymore.
The grey walls stared back at him, the familiar shuffling thunder in his ears and the screaming and yelling from the solitary cells send tremors into hid body, made him quiver and shake. Their screams morphed into his, forming into the torture he bore as his mother connected her fist into his abdomen, the memory of her holding his face in front of the fire.
Those screams...
He didn't know what came over him, but the next logical thought he had was how to snap the mans neck, how to crush his body against the wall. "All prisoners down ! Halt !" there was yelling all around him, and he could barely see Seto disappear from sight while the others immediately shrank away, guards surrounding Sky as he suffocated Mitch, held his grip so tight he could feel the bones bend harshly beneath his fingers. He watched him claw at his arms, trying to free himself to breathe but Sky's hold never faltered, staring at him with dead, golden eyes, searing into his soul.
Then, he screamed, an electric current running deep into his body, forcing him to let go, forcing him to collapse against the wall, holding on to keep himself upright as he felt new lashes strike his flesh, breaking his clothes and splitting his flesh, drawing red. He watched through his pain as Mitch got up, rubbing his neck and backing away. He watched as the guards used their swords and slashed at his body, just enough to draw blood, not enough to make anything serious. But it hurt.
It hurt so much as he was pushed onto the ground and beaten, the electricity coursing through his body paralyzing him, preventing him from doing anything but let out hoarse, breaths and scratchy sounds that he called screams. But somehow, all the taunts of the wardens melted away and all he could suddenly see was the training compound again, Adam standing before him, sword raised, striking his body, kicking him down, calling him a fool. He could see that malicious glint in his eyes, see those emotionless, cold orbs stare down at him as if he was nothing but dirt beneath his feet. It was all he could see as he felt them seize his arms. The golden blade glimmered under the harsh light as he used it to tilt Sky's chin up to face him. To face his own brother.
"Remember this, Sky. You will never, ever be anything more than this. Nothing more than a defective copy of me" he felt the searing pain of the tip of the sword pierce into his neck. And suddenly he could not see at all.[another Authors note]
