Sorry! It's pretty short, but I'm thinking up some good twists for y'all!

After I was discharged from the hospital I felt as though I was burning inside out everyday. I didn't eat that much, but the doctors said

that would be normal. Sweet Pea, my dog though, we kept her outside. Whenever she saw me, she wagged her tail rapidly just like old

times, I felt weird around her, like, I was supposed to forgive her, and let her back in the house. My father had wanted to put her

down, but I told him no, and that in time we would forgive her.

"Leah, you have to feed Pea sometime..." My mother cooed silently from the living room. I nodded, another thing I hadn't been doing

in awhile was talking. Talking and eating we're very low in my 'To-Do' list, and I had a feeling they weren't going to bump up anytime

soon. Dumping dog food into the chewed up plastic bowl, I opened out glass door, and danced down the steps. Sweet Pea sat up from

the dirt, looking hopeful at me. I crouched down far enough from her chain so she couldn't reach me, my arm was still wrapped in

protective bandages from the canines assault on me. I nudged the food closer to her, her browning amber eyes started over at me, her

eyes were saddened. And life went on as usual.

Until Sweet Pea got off her chain. Somehow getting out of out fenced in yard, and running away.
