Park Jimin

My eyes flutters at the blinding light from the window. Ugh, why do I always forget to buy blinds? My alarm clock beeps at exactly 6:30 in the morning. Hand roaming beside my table, searching for the beeping machine to turn it off.

I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand, and stretched and yawned. How unfortunate of me to live this painful life. I searched for my phone on the side table to see if I have tutoring schedules today. I really hope I have one or I'll be eating nothing till my shift later.

"Yes!" I exclaimed, punching the air. I do have a schedule. "And it's big time."

I scrolled down to see the description of my new meal ticket--I mean student.

"Name: Min Soohyun, Age: 16,School: Gayoung High School." My lips twitched. "This boy is really big time, that's helluva school. Boy, I wished I entered that school too. Why didn't I chose Gayoung at the first place?"

I tilted my head to the side. Trying to remember the reason. "Ah! Its an all boys school!" I laughed at myself. "I bet this boy's never seen any girl."

I scrolled down more to see my new student's photo.

"What the--HE'S FREAKING HANDSOME! He looks like one of those artists! Heol! What a handsome boy."

I felt a bit excited. I put the phone down and got out of bed. I should wash my hair extra today.

I went to the bathroom and washed my hair and did my daily rituals. I have to be extra pretty today and for the next days that I'll be tutoring him.

Now I feel old. I don't want to look old. This is what I get out of this family stress I'm having. And also for not having a boyfriend who can provide me meals and basic needs. I don't even have a boyfriend for a start.

I looked at my reflection carefully. I caressed my face. I don't look that old tho. I still don't look a day over my twenty's. Though that happened five years ago.

How unfortunate of me to live this painful life.

I left my apartment with a smile on my face. And right on cue, my client called me.

"Yeobeoseo? Park Jimin speaking." I said in my most professional tone.

"Hey its me, Yoongi. The guy who almost bumped you with his car."

I cleared my throat, and I suddenly felt nervous. "H-hi! So..it was you! Who..who made an appointment."

He laughed. "Obviously. Well its actually my brother you'll be tutoring. So if you don't mind, please come by at my shop. Its located beside the convenience store."

"S-sure. I'll be there quickly. In fact, I'm already at the ground floor. Uhm..see you?"

"Sure, see you."

Did I just stutter? Oh no Park Jimin, compose yourself. I have business to do.

I took a deep breath before making my final step out of the building and walked towards the shop Yoongi owns.

"Wow, you're already here. Please take a seat." Yoongi said from what looks like a counter. He was wiping some cups and is wearing a brown apron.

"So this is your shop?" I asked. Well it was really obvious but I'm really out of questions to throw right now.

"Yeah. It'll be opening tomorrow." He answered and took off his apron. He propped his elbows on the counter and looked at me.

"I didn't thought you were the coffee kind of guy." I chuckled while roaming my eyes around.
