It was night time when Lilith finally finished encoding her thesis. She glanced at the time. 1:03 AM.
Shit, she cussed out.
Grabbing her things haphazardly, she stuffed all of her stuff inside her bag and took out a syringe.
"Hope this works," she muttered to herself. She had to convince everyone her theory wasn't actually a theory and she actually did it. She plunged the needle into her arm and squeezed her eyes shut.
That had to be done, she repeated to herself.
This wasn't called cheating.
They wouldn't know.
No one would know.
And then everyone will know her name.
Mutation isn't impossible anymore.
