-Kirara's POV-
Five days have now passed since the day that she had bitten Declan. He seemed to be fine, achey and sore, but fine. He was grumpy and confused. Kirara knew this and yet she couldn't help herself but avoid him. She couldn't forgive herself for what she did. She had nearly turned an unwilling mortal. For every supernatural in the world, being bitten unwillingly was the worst thing that could ever happen. It ruins your life.
"Kir!" Declan grabbed her shoulder, making her spin. He was attempting pointless conversation again. "Wait."
"What," She screamed at him. "The. Fuck. Do. You. Want!"
"I want you to talk to me."
"No."
She ripped away from his grip and stalked outside. The era's tended to change with her mood and right now they were in medieval Italy. What was it? Like the 1700's? It didn't matter, she walked out to a small courtyard. A withering garden grew in it. The bushes were brown and red, the flowers dying and black. The soil brittle and light tan, the color of Owen's skin on a sunny day. Owen pushed at her mind and she resisted like always. She was too irate to try to talk rationally.
"Kir..." She hears someone mutter. A single blood tear runs down her face. Declan. "Kir?"
"Declan."
"Look at me, please."
"Declan, go away."
When he put a hand on her shoulder, suddenly she felt something odd. Both of them were transported into someone else's mind. Why did this feel so familiar? Then she saw a man before her and Declan's eyes widened. Her own narrowed. She shoved Declan behind her as her the woman turned. His sparkling red eyes gleamed. Dad.
"Hello dear." Her father whispered with a cruel smile. "It's been awhile since you were weak enough for me to get in."
"Shut up and get out of my head!"
"Oh, honey. And who is this? You never introduced me to any of your friends you know."
"Dad..!" She screamed. "Get out of my head!"
"Declan? Nice name. Too bad you won't be around much longer, eh?"
They were kicked out of her head then. She was shaking, eyes wide. Her dad was coming after her. And Declan. She turned and he was staring at her with plain fear in his eyes. He still had no idea what was going on. He was a mortal. But yet her dad had made a special point of noticing Declan. That meant that he would come after him. He wasn't afraid. Declan is terrified.
"What the fuck was that?" Declan whispered, nervous. "What... This makes no sense."
