Thats when I relised it was my turn.

I stood up, and looked at my shoes. "I'm, uh, Mimet Angie Brafin. Or Cookie. My S-shugo Chara is Lita."
Lita looked at me, then shook her head sadly. I sat down with a plop. "Join us." Huh? I lifted my head. "Please? Will you become one of us? A gurdian?" Laya asked me. I smiled, opened my mouth to say yes, then shut it, then opened it, and sadly: "NO!"

AJ looked at me as if I had three heads. Lita frowned at me. Laya, Carly, and Keoni had blank, shocked expressions. "SERIOUSLY!?" A girl from behind me asked. I turned around to see Allie standing next to Everett. "YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!" she shouted to the sky. I saw she had a strange necklace on. It had a black circle in front of a white one. Plus, it shimmered. Everett sighed, and a football marking appeared by his eye. "YOU NEED TO GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME!" he yelled at me. Okay, freaky. A Shugo Chara wearing a white dress with black accents was growling at me. She had emerald green eyes and a necklace with a black dot in front of a white one, and she had shimmery blonde hair. Next to her was a football player type Shugo Chara, with a football by his eye and dirty blonde hair.

OK, how did I miss these guys at lunch?

"What are Shugo Chara's, anyways?" I ask. AJ hands me a book. I look at it, and I see a white egg on the cover. I open it.

"Every child has an egg within their souls. Their Would be selves, their true selves, yet, unseen."
I see a ripped page, and glance at AJ. "There's a page missing from the very back." I say. He nods, "We have no clue why." He looks at Keoni. Dang, that Keo kid sure is quiet. OH! Keo, perfect nickname! Anyways, he shrugs, "I dunno! Stop asking me!" AJ shakes his head, then looks at me. "Please, wont you join the guardians?" He asks again, this time doing something I shall forever call the "Sparkle Trick"

I Shake my head, and he gives me the funny look again. "Why not? You get to wear a cape!" Carly prompted, pulling out another red cape, like Laya's and hers. "Well, the list on just one or two reasons why?" I asked, hands on hips. "The list!" they all say in unison. Oh great. "1. I don't like the cape. 2... um, uh.." I stop, blush, grab my bag and leave before I make more of a fool of myself.

Suddenly, the world turns blurry. Oh no, not now!

Since my psycho father tried to kill us, I keep blacking out at random times. I can never tell when I'll wake up. Right now, I don't think this is very good.

I reach a tree, and the fall. Suddenly, the entire world goes black. the last thing I see is the scar on my arm from the last time my father hit me.
