What Can Happen 1

• Jade's POV •




My alarm rings, I look over and see it's 6:00. Time for school. I yawn and realise it's only Tuesday. Great. I go to make some coffee and breakfast and get ready for another tiring day of school.




I see my friend Lina as I walk into school and we start walking around.




"We have a new kid." She says as we walk into Science class.




"Who?" I ask.




"Some guy that is an exchange from Engla..." She gets cut off as he and our teacher walk through the door.




"Alright everyone take their seats." My teacher proclaims, " This is a new student, his name is Louis and he's an exchange student from England!"




Everyone looks at Louis and then just turns to keep talking with the people around them. The teacher shows him to where his seat is.... great. He's my new Science partner.




"Hi, I'm Louis." he says with a smile.




"Hi, I'm Jade, nice to meet you." I say trying to make this seem less awkward than it is.




"And I'm Lina." She says butting into out conversation.




Louis giggles.




"Nice to meet you girls." He says, "I hope I g... " He gets interrupted by the teacher.




"Alright, lets start." he shouts trying to get people awake.




As soon as the lecture starts I start to fade in and out and soon I'm asleep.




"Jade." Louis whispers trying to get me to wake up so the teacher doesn't notice, "Jade!" He says a little louder.




"What..." I say slurring my words because of my in-class nap.




"Class is over, you slept right through" He informs me, "Do you want me to walk you to your next class, because the bells already rang?"




"Sure thanks, it's room 303. What's yours?" I ask.




"My next class is room 20."




"But that's all the way on the other side of the school! You don't need to walk me, your already late because of me."




"Yeah I don't mind." Louis says in a calm tone.







I think we will get along good. I hope I have more classes with him.
