Lilly POV

The next morning I arrived on the set ready to get to work. The set was like a mad house. People were running everywhere and the stage crew seemed nervous and were frantically running around the set. I decided to head straight over to the head trailer where I was sure to find Francis.

When I arrived at the trailer, I had to literally push my way through to get to Francis. There were so many people in the trailer I wasn't sure if I was ever going to make it over to him. Once I arrived to his desk, I asked him where he wanted me and what can I do to help.

"My dear Lily, I really wanted to be the one to introduce you to our artist, but I can't seem to be able to calm down the crazy in here at the moment. But this envelope about the set details really needs to get to our star, can you bring it to him?" I graciously agreed. I didn't need a big introduction with the artist. It probably would have only been awkward.

After leaving the trailer, I used the directions that Francis had given me on how to get to the artist's trailer. After wandering around the parking lot for a few minutes, making only a few wrong turns, I made it to what must have been his trailer. The trailer was huge. It looked like one of those multi-million dollar RV's that you can only dream of owning. I hesitantly went up to the trailers door, and after taking a few deep breaths, I knocked on the door. I have to admit that I was nervous. I was about to meet one of Hollywood's big singers, this is huge.

When the door opened, I was immediately staring at my shoes. I know that's not the most professional thing, but I had suddenly grown shy. When I still hadn't looked up, a deep voice spoke.

"Can I help you?" The voice sounded familiar. This artist must be someone that I've seen on TV or something. There's no other way I would have recognized the voice. I handed him the envelope without looking up.

"This is from Francis. He said that you will need it for today's shoot. It includes all the important set information."

"Thank-you! By the way, as I'm sure you don't know because you haven't looked up at me," He chuckled as he mentioned I haven't looked at him yet. Immediately my cheeks started to get really warm. "I'm Cameron Lincoln. What's your name?" Whatever color was in my face from my blush moments ago immediately left my face as my gaze shot up to meet Cam's.

I just literally stared at him for a few minutes in awe. We held eye contact for a few minutes and not once did it seem that recognition flashed across his eyes. After the silence grew to be uncomfortably long, Cameron once again spoke.

"So are you a fan? It's always nice to meet my fans!"

That broke me out of whatever trance I was in. Flashbacks to what his manager said about me being a fan of his 10 years ago brought me back to my senses. I decided to play it off as if I didn't remember him also.

"Sorry, I'm Lilly Andrews. It's so nice to meet you for the first time Mr. Lincoln. I'm shadowing Francis Lawrence this summer, so it seems we will be working with one another quite often. I will be looking forward to it."

I shook his hand, turned around, and quickly walked away. I couldn't believe that the artist I was going to be spending a majority of my summer with is Cameron Lincoln. The same Cameron I shared all my childhood memories with. This will be interesting summer.

Cameron POV

"Sorry, I'm Lilly Andrews. It's so nice to meet you for the first time Mr. Lincoln. I'm shadowing Francis Lawrence this summer, so it seems we will  be working with one another quite often. I will be looking forward to it."

Wait. What just happened? That girl made it sound like it is the first time that I've met her, but I'm almost positive that is my friend Lily from back home.

I was trying to process this information for a few minutes before what happened actually hit me. I decide to go find her and see if she is my childhood friend. If she is, that will make this music video so much better.

Once I left my trailer to go find this Lily girl, I was immediately grabbed by my assistant Kaitlyn and being dragged to shoot my music video. I tried to get out of Kaitlyn's iron grip, but she was very insistent that I get to the set right this instance.

It didn't seem to matter if I had gotten out of her grip or not because the one girl that I was about to send a search party out for was where I needed to be. Our eyes locked from across the set and I knew. I no longer needed to ask if she was the same Lily Andrews I grew up with, she was. I could clearly see the sadness and recognition in her eyes when I looked over at her. I don't understand why she was sad. Why was she pretending that she didn't know who I am. I don't know why she is acting that way, but I'm determined to find out once I have the chance. I've missed her so much, I can't wait to have my best friend back.
