...Life at Creepypasta Mansion...
Chapter 5.
~Erica's Point Of View~
"Is-is he? D-d-"
"No," said Slendy, "just under the influence of the anaesthetic."
In a short, sharp motion, Masky's chest rose and fell once again, and not a moment too soon.
"So, he's okay, right?"
"Not yet, Hoodie, watch Masky. I'll be back soon."
"Where are you going?"
"To get Masky's pills."
That was so scary.
"Um, M-Masky?"
Masky coughed again slightly and said, "Erica? Is th-that you?"
"Yes, me and Hoodie."
The door opened to reveal Ben, looking shocked, standing in the doorway, gripping the doorframe so hard, it was being crushed under the pressure of his fingers.
"Great," he said, "just great."
~Two Hours Later~
Jeff eyes opened lazily as he sat up on the black, fabric sofa. He yawned, looking surprised to see all the worried faces around him.
"Wha... What did I miss?"
"Everything."
"Well then!"
I stood up and headed to Masky's room. When I got there, Slendy wasn't there. Instead, when I opened the door, I found Hoodie crying softly beside Masky's bed.
"It's just... I d-don't want to lose you... You're the best f-friend I've ever had! If you passed, I d-don't know w-what I'd do. I'd be b-b-broken," sobbed Hoodie.
"Hoodie, I'm not leaving anytime soon. I'll be fine," said Masky.
"Um, hello, Masky? Are you awake?" I said, entering the room softly.
"Erica!" said Masky and Hoodie in unison.
"Hi."
"Wow," I said to Masky, lifting his mask so I could see his face, "you're looking well, Masky."
"I'm feeling well. How long until I can get up?"
"Slendy says two hours."
"Uuuuugggghhhhh, it's too loooooong!"
I put my arm around Hoodie, who buried his hooded head in his hands.
"It's okay Hoodie, he'll be fine."
"You don't know that," said Hoodie, weeping softly.
"Hoodie, stop it, you'll make me cry."
Masky sat up in his bed, and stared at me, oddly.
"You wouldn't cry for me," he said, chuckling slightly, "you barely know me."
"Yet you've been a better friend to me then all my childhood classmates," I replied.
He lifted his mask again, and smiled at me softly. His eyes did that sparkly thing that's liked again. I knew this friendship would last a long time.
~Two Hours Later~
Masky was up and well. He was allowed to walk around now, which he quite enjoyed, him being the agile and nimble person he was. I discussed with the others when I would be leaving, and we concluded on tomorrow.
"Can't you just stay forever?" said Ben.
"Yeah, why can't you?" said Jeff.
"Guys," I said, "you know I have to leave some time!"
Ben looked at me with puppy dog eyes.
"Pwease?" he pleaded, "You're my best friend!"
I gave him a look that told him I couldn't stay, and he responded with a glance towards the ground.
