You shivered as you finally awoke your his unpleasant slumber. You glanced around, and to your disappointment were unable to see anything. You placed your hands on the damp floor beneath you, and lifted yourself to your knees.
Still, nothing was visible. Your hand slid down to your pocket, and you extracted you mobile. Your thumb glided across the screen, as you shakily scrolled through the contacts.
Your grip landed on Stiles, you lifted the device to your ear, and immediately the tone began to ring. And you waited.
Soon, Stiles answered. 'Y/N, it's half past two...' he spoke groggily.
You breathed heavily; worriedly. 'I, I don't know where I am. I woke up, and I can't see anything. Stiles, I'm lost...' You heard shuffling on the other end of the line, and Stiles' voice returned.
'I'll be there soon. Can u tell me anything about where you are?' He asked, his voice laced with concern.
'Um... Not really, it's really dark. The floor feels like concrete, and...' You continued to feel the floor for any signs of his destination. 'Leaves, I can feel leaves.'
Stiles sighed, and then spoke. 'I know where you are, I'll be 5 minutes. Hold on Y/N, you'll be fine.' And with that the call ended, and you were left to wait once again.
You shook as the cold air around you settled on your skin. You enveloped yourself in your jumper, hoping to stay awake long enough. Long enough so that the dreams wouldn't return.
10 minutes passed and there was still no evidence of Stiles' arrival. Still, you didn't doubt him. You trusted Stiles, almost as much as you trusted your best friend, Allison.
You knew Stiles was strong, but was he strong enough to ward off all those lurking in the mist. You knew of the menacing monsters to roam the town. You also knew of their strength. And this is what seemed to worry you the most. Not your own safety, but Stiles'.
Shockingly, you eventually heard the sound of a slamming car door in the distance, and you knew who it was, and your glad he was there.
'Stiles!' You called out throatily, eager to reveal your unknown location.
'Y/N!' He yelled louder; stronger.
Soon, the sound of leaves crunching; twigs snapping was audible, and then they stopped.
'Y/N,' Stiles huffed, out of breath. 'Y/N, how the hell did you get here?' He chuckled, helping you to your feet. You felt weak, and therefore collapsed into Stiles' arms.
'Sleep walking... Nightmares...' That was all you wheezed out, before Stiles pushed you back, so you were face to face.
'They will end, Y/N. Your strength... You'll overpower them, eventually.' He looked into your eyes, and saw the worry; saw the pain.
'I'm not strong, they'll never end. Stiles, I'm scared. Scared of losing my mind; scared of losing everyone I love; scared of-' You were cut short as Stiles' lips collided with yours. And suddenly, you was calm.
Stiles could feel your breathing slow, and he broke the connection.
'Um, well... You okay?' Stiles asked, slightly embarrassed.
You looked Stiles up and down, and smiled. 'Yeah, I am now.'
