My eyes suddenly snapped open. The only object visible to me was the shadowed wall I awoke to be facing. Attempting to turn to face the open space of my room, I was unsuccessful.
My worry swam through the darkness that surrounded me, as I retried changing the postition I was stuck in. A bed of sweat layered my forehead as anxious thoughts bounced throughout my mind. Why couldnt I move?
Realising trying would lead me to no avail, I gave up. Heaving, I slowed my breathing.
Silence cut into the room like a knife through butter, smoothly yet instantly. Tired, I let my eyes droop closed, only to reopen them when a unexpected clash occurred behind my turned back. Shocked, I went to lift my head to see the source.
Remembering I was practically glued in my position, I was blind to anything other than the wall and the distant quilt muffled under my shoulder.
My heart pounded against my chest, as I was worried about what stood behind me. The wooden floor creaked, indicating the figures movements towards me. I struggled to let out a strangled wheeze, when attempting to scream.
A faint shadow appeared on the wall of which I was staring at. A thick, threatening body with a shaped head that seemed one of a fantasy loomed just metres away from me.
'Stiles...' It hissed, as I narrowed my eyes.
All at once, my head felt fuzzy, and I was unable to focus on anything. All thoughts distorted; images blurry; memories unclear...
A puzzled expression became displayed on my face, as I was unsure of every possibilty.
It dawned on me that it was hopeless. It'd chosen me, and there was no way I could stop it. I had to accept the fact that I was going to be taken through a dark tunnel, with no light at the end...
