I'm sorry

Sorry that I told you how I felt

I'm sorry i exposed the truth

Never again will i prove you wrong

And prove us right

I swear that my days of hope are over

That no one will again show me true love

No time for heartache over the past five years

It's all my fault that they never talk

I'm delusional

I'm fake

I'm sorry  

I lied to you every day

Every waking moment I put up a front

I hate myself for those broken promises

Is this what you wanted

To feel like the victim

I hope you heal from your wounds

And that they tell your story to our future generations

Nothing will ever steal your spotlight again

The world is out to get you
