I took my tea cup from the table as I jumped down on the comfy sofa. The two girls beside me groaned because I almost caused their cups to fly to the ceiling and back.

"Take it easy, there." The blonde who was in the middle frowned at her cup. I looked at her weirdly.

"O-kay." I said slowly.

"I told you my mint tea will help you feel better." Amanda gave me a satisfied look.

"Yeah, it kind of helped. Thanks Am." I said sniffing the tea. It smelled really fresh.

"Am?" She rolled her eyes, "at least it's better than Amie."

"Who the heck calls you that?" Perrie asked in surprise.

"My bloody boyfriend." The Asian girl rolled her eyes again while she moved the spoon in her tea cup.

"Dump him, girl! You ain't going nowhere with a guy that doesn't know your real name." My eyebrow rose as Perrie talked.

"I-I love him I guess." We all stayed quiet for a while.

"I don't know him," Perrie started, "but he doesn't seem so nice to me."

Amanda took a deep breath, "He isn't…"

I felt that there was something wrong. You know that feeling when your guts start to give you signs of things, that was the one.

"U-uh, ehem," I cleared my throat, "you can tell us a little bit about him, if you want?"

She placed her tea on the coffee table in front of us and took another shaky breath, as if she was going to talk about the most dangerous nuclear weapon on Earth.

She'd looked around nervously for a while before she started, "it's complicated, my guy best friend hates my boyfriend and vice versa. My boyfriend, Chad, treats me bad, h-he cheated on me." We gasped before she continues, "but my bestfriend, Jay, treats me really good. Like a princess, you know?" She smiled to herself.

"Lately.." She hesitated again.

"Lately, Jay told me he loved me, after he saw Chad cheating on me. He said I could do better with him, and he's right, but I love Chad even though he's an ass. What to do?" She finished.

Perrie's eyebrows met in a knot, "well, honey, I think it's pretty obvious."

"But is it?" I asked as my eyebrow rose.

"Yes," Perrie paused as she took a sip of her tea, "You see, guys like Chad tend to be … self-indulgent."

"A player." I interrupted.

"And…" Perrie'd gave me a meaningful look before she took the wheel of this conversation again, "and this Jay guy… do you like him?"

Amanda looked away in confusion, "I don't know… I mean, it's hard to see your best friend as anything else but your best friend, unless you had feelings for them from the beginning,"

"Did you?" Perrie pushed a little bit harder.

"I-I don't know! Let's change the subject, please!"

And of course mister life-saving Harry had to enter the apartment at this very moment, typical. He was wearing a clean white shirt, and a pair of black jeans. His hair was hidden underneath a red beanie, and he was holding some bags in his left hand.

"Hi, girls." He came closer and gave me a quick kiss on my cheek, "Hey, love."

I blushed, "Hi, babe." I whispered.
