2. Worse Than Ever

Chapter Two: Worse Than Ever

This was it. It was Sunday and I was standing on the big couch from the living room, just wondering what can I do to pass my time.

I turn on the TV and pass trough the channels when I realize there is nothing good, I decide to do a Pretty Little Liars marathon on Netflix.

At some point in the day, I hear a loud knock at door. I get up to open the door and I am greeted by my two best friends, Valentia and Saffron who just hugged me and screamed in my ears.

"You did it!!! I am so proud of you and I always had faith in you that you will succeed in this category." Tia said hugging me tighter.

"We saw your video from last night. It is amazing! You are a really good editor!" Saffron said taking Valentia's place in my hands. 'I think the app I just paid showed me that it deserved every penny.' I just thought to myself as I hugged them tighter and inviting them to come in after realizing we were still in the front door.

"I am amazed you liked them! At first I thought it was stupid but I think it worked..." I said to them with a little anxiousness in my voice.

"Are you bloody kidding me right now? Not just us, they all loved it! Look!" Saffron, the internet master of all of us said excited as she opened the laptop.

"Haven't you checked the comments?"

"Nope, I just wanted a break day with no worries at all. What if someone's comment touched me? I didn't wanted to ruin my weekend." and Saff nodded not very believable.

As I looked over the kitchen I saw Tia slowly comforting herself in the kitchen and boiling water for tea.

"Do you want some?"

"Of course, Tia. Why do you even ask?" Saffron was that kind of person who just drinks tea at every time of the day. I just let out a little chuckle and allowed my body to fall on the couch and continue the PLL series.

"I need to tell you two something that is going through my life. Well, my parents got a divorce a-and I am scared. You know I barely express my life with you two and I am sorry for skipping every chance I have." and I felt a warm tear sliding on my cold cheeks "I don't know what to-"

"Calm down Ellie, you know we will always be here for you, it will be OK. Everything will be in the right place." Saffron said, placing her hand on my shoulder trying to comfort me.

"And we are grateful for having such an amazing personality around everyday, and about your parents, it will be hard, I guess but you will get used to. I promise." Tia said leaving the kitchen and starting to rub my back, trying to make me feel better.

"I'm a total mess!" I said blurring my hands "I am the luckiest person in the whole world to even know someone like you two, not even to call you my best friends."

"Hey! No more crying! You are just feeding the enemies, what are you doing!" Saff said, and yes, she always thought we are in a constant war with our enemies so she would control every move she made when we are out.

"Thanks Saff, Tia. You two just made my day." I said trying to sound better.

After two or three episodes of Pretty Little Liars, I had thrown the family problems in the back of my interior library and decided to live the moment. At some point in the middle of the forth episode I feel Saffron stand up from the couch.
