Chapter Three: Christmas Shopping
******

After about half an hour, I hear a loud knock at the door and I was able to see Tiffany rush to open the door. The door opens and there was a beautiful teenager. Her makeup was flawless and she was the definition of perfect. She was that kind of girl you would call popular in high school.

Her hair was in a high messy bun with blonde strips of hair falling on her forehead and on the sides of her head. She was nothing like a normal teenager, she looked as she stepped out of a Victoria Secrets show but as a model. Tiffany whispers something, causing her to smile widely. She starts walking in my direction and I try to look cool and not amazed by how beautiful she is.

"Hi, I'm Griffin. You must be Elisabeth." She says friendly.

"Yes, nice to meet you." I say trying to keep my calm and smiling.

"Well, what are we waiting for... Let's go!" She says excited, dragging me out of the house like we have known each other for an eternity.

"So... how old are you?" she says curiously, trying to get in touch with me.

"Well, I'm 16, I'm in second year of high school. And you?" I ask, giving more information in my response.

"I'm 17, third year of high school and as soon as I move here completely I'll go to Westwood High." she says proudly.

Westwood High is the same school I go too and that meant that she was going to study with me.

'Maybe you should just accept the fact that you're going to have stepbrothers and forget about...' my minds started thinking and cut my thoughts as soon as I could, shaking my head back to reality.

I was right. It wasn't impossible but I will need a lot of time to get used to.

"What a coincidence, I go there as well. We will be colleagues as well. Isn't that fun?" I say trying to sound excited even though I am not at the moment. She nods and we continue our way to the center of the city.

A couple of minutes later I was able to see the shops and I felt my heart beat faster from the excitement.

We go into the shops one by one and the shopping bags start multiplying. We were buying clothes and presents from every shop we entered and trust me, there were a lot of shops. We even had to go back home and leave all the bags and come back so we can continue.

After three or four hours of shopping, we turn back at my dad's house and after this shopping spree Griffin wasn't a bad person. She had her own issues but she wouldn't open up yet. We had a lot of long conversations and I've leaned that she wants to be a fashion designer.

She seemed to be really cool and I couldn't wait anymore to meet her twin and my stepbrother, in the end.

It was late in the evening and I should really head back home if I want to have dinner with my mom. But instead, I was standing in the living room, eyeing all the shopping bags I've bought and asking myself how was I going to walk home with all the bags.
