Monday, 9:00am
My alarm clock rang like an annoying and non stop whining baby.I put my pink fluffy pillow on my ears and turned towards my bedside cabinet and checked the time and tossed around. It was 9:05 in the morning and thankfully it was the start of the summer holidays which meant I didn't have to wake up so early in the morning. My back was still hurting me from last week when I had to carry all the heavy bags in.I got up and slipped my feet into my mint green dolphin slippers and walked towards the bathroom. There was a rustle from outside the window and so I turned around. Nothing was there. I carried on walking and went into the bathroom like I usually do everyday.Drying my face with the towel I walked out of the bathroom and downstairs to the kitchen. That's strange I thought to myself, upon seeing the milk left open on the worktop."I thought I had closed that and put it back in the fridge".
I turned around and there were kitchen rolls scattered on the floor- making it dangerous to walk on. There was flour spread on the table and juice spilt on the cabinets. "What had happened?"I screamed and jumped on top of the now broken dining table. From behind me was a chimpanzee jumping onto the fridge and leaping to and from. I was definitely not expecting that. It jumped onto the floor and into the garden. I followed after it in absolute shock and curiosity. He jumped right through my rose bush which had thorns and turned around and said something to me in English.
"Come on then" he said "are you coming"
I thought I was about to faint for a minute. I closed my eyes and jumped through the bush. Nothing had happened. I opened my eyes and the most beautiful and luscious garden was standing ahead of me. There were endless rows of bright green orchards with berries and raspberries and any fruit you could name. I ran to wear the chimpanzee went but he was to fast for me and he ran along another row; by the time I skidded to a halt and turned around to see where he went .He was gone.I was so completely dazed and in my own world that I completely lost track of the time. I looked at my watch and the hand was spinning vigorously in circles. It was like this place didn't have time. I looked at the sky and it was the same as it was since I got here; and 'since' was ages ago.I turned around and looked around to see where I had come from but I couldn't remember. There were so many rows of orchards and trees and bushes that looked the same, that one would not remember where they had entered this new world of heaven from. I through my watch on the floor and started sobbing. Mum would be home from work in a couple of hours. What would she say when she found me gone? So many thoughts were whizzing through my head. How would I get out of this place? How will I survive? Where will I get food and shelter from?
"I want food" I said out loud. I was hungry vand I thought instead of sobbing here like a good for nothing moaning myrtle then I should do something useful: like scavenging . Shoop! What was that noise? I flicked my hair around and looked, a shoot was coming out of the ground with potatoes growing and pumpkins. The whole land from beyond there was now covered with never ending fields of fruit and vegetables. Shoots were popping out from all over the ground.
